I run the XX10, had it for almost 3 years and battery is still running strong.

They work amazing and has a loud decibel alarm. Well worth the money if you plan on parking somewhere outside for prolonged periods of time consistently, or if live in a condo and have to park in an underground/shared parkade.

I would still advise you use a bike cover in conjunction with the disc lock.

Just remember if you forget/or if your friend decides to hop on/some random douche tries to move your bike, to remove the lock.

Seems basic enough, but if you forget and just roll it you can damage quite a bit of plastics/metals/rotors/calipers.

^lol that's why a lot of the ones i've seen come with a florescent coloured lanyard that you loop over your bars to remind yourself "hey asshole, disc lock!"

I have the xx6. Battery is decent, doesn't randomly go off.

FYI I got mine on eBay for under $60 new.

ive got a older xena lock/alarm but the alarm kept going off when no one was near the bike. I didn't even bother putting a new battery in.

You can pick up those "florescent coloured lanyard' at Holeshot ground floor.
