Samsung chromebook

Do you guys think the chromebook is worth buying? I will only be using it for netflix, general internet browsing, and school/homework. Is the transition from microsoft word to google docs an easy one? Also, what's the cloud system that everyone keeps talking about? (the chromebook is only 269 btw)

Spend a bit more and get a windows laptop. With a Chrome book you have to connected to the net to do most stuff.

For the past couple years, most of my life is has been stored in cloud (google drive). I have all my old homework assignments, years worth of photos, pdf books etc stored on the web. That way, if my hard drive ever crashes (which has happened in the past), I don't lose all my stuff.

I mainly keep movies/music on my physical HD now, but all the important stuff that I can NOT lose is stored on cloud.

I've been thinking about getting a chromebook too to hold me over until the next generation of macbooks come out.. not too hard to tether a chromebook to my droid I figure..
