A lot of fun in the rain, great brakes, decent shifts for an auto, car bitches at you when you start to slide a little. Interesting feature because it drops the music down depending on how much the car is sliding!


Steering wheel feels pimp. One thing that modern cars ALL have are nice feeling steering wheels. Almost any car before like 2006 has a cheap feeling wheel now.


Tonight I'm going to socialize and see if I can find drugs to buy here in Blofino

I'm going to see if I can rent a place out here and split my time between Gastown and Tofino. This place is so full of character. The waitress at The Schooner restaurant is absolutely stunning, and she told me weird shit happens there at night. Apparently it's haunted!

There are 3 distinct groups I've met, hippies, surfers, and tradesmen. They get along like oil and water! The locals are pretty friendly, at least the women are. The fucking coffee is disgusting, it is like drinking a laxative made of battery acid.


Defintely going to rent more cars and drive them out here. The E36 5.0 would be a nightmare to drive in the rain, haha. That Volvo S60 AWD was safe and easy to drive, but oh-so boring. It won't brake-torque launch at all, it must have something built into the computer where you can't launch it at all. Once you're moving it has some good power but it is slug-slow off the line. Brakes are really good and the ride is pretty plush. Perfect stock stereo!

Volvo is no BMW, and BMW is no Volvo. "Exciting" and "fun" have never been synonomous with Volvo's. They were designed to get you there comfortably and safely with as little drama as possible.
