Best Tunnels to Rip Through in BC?

I did a search and nothing popped up. Do you know any good tunnel around these parts that will give you an eargasm?

All I know is the Massey Tunnel on HWY 1. If you know any others that come close, match, or are better than that, let us know here!

The Massey Tunnel is on Highway 99 :suspicious:

There's the Cassiar tunnel on highway 1 just before the Iron Workers bridge, but it's not as long as the Massey tunnel. There's also expo boulevard by BC place. It's not really a tunnel but it should echo a bit.

Cassiar Tunnel on highway number 1

The catch is, Police is normally waiting on the side and impounding speeding cars/bikes :troll:

You can try a train tunnel... With a train chugging, blowing its whistle... Then hum to thomas the train's music... That should give you an eargasm

just vent the exhaust into your cabin and shut the windows
should mimic the 'echoey' sound you are after, and prove darwin's theory all in one swift movement

I had so much fun ripping through the Massey w/ my Brothers BUILT NSX! WOW! I should also say it was w/ next to no traffic. The only way.

vitaminG 04-14-2014 06:17 PM

your moms love tunnel is best

wonton1017 04-14-2014 06:18 PM

Hands down the best place to listen to your exhaust:
http://goo.gl/maps/o6tBI

Last couple times I went there it was so deserted it was kinda creepy.

I'm assuming "rip through" as in staying in second gear and slowly go all the way to like 5k rpm, if you're planning to go way above speed limits then good luck making out of that tunnel.

jinxcrusader 04-14-2014 06:24 PM

Aberdeen is annoyingly loud. I don't feel comfortable driving my stock Fiat Abarth in there with all the elderly looking at me.

multicartual 04-14-2014 06:28 PM

When I was like 25, someone in a new M5 ripped it through the upper level of the Park Royal parkade and then slammed into the side of a West Van cop car, 'twas epic laughs

Timpo 04-14-2014 06:44 PM

this topic is fucking retarded

Yodamaster 04-14-2014 07:20 PM

You don't have to "rip it" anywhere to get the full effect of your vehicle's exhaust note, you could be doing the limit and still get the full effect.

That being said, the tunnel just before the iron worker's works pretty well.
