To each their own,
Some people hate latest high-tech machines due to their complexity.
Even mechanics hate working on latest cars and motorcycle because they're very complicated to work on.
However, there are some high level mechanics who actually enjoy working on those state of the art machines.
F1 machines are one of the most complicated cars out there, as well as high end luxury/sports cars.
If you're not up-to-date, yes you will definitely get left alone but some people actually find it fascinating to work on high-tech complicated machines.
For myself, I would rather work on something simple because I find it too complicated and expensive to have all the tools...but as I said, to each their own.
