It finally arrived today. Took a lot more effort to actually get the parcel into my hands.
DHL was incompetent. They attempted to deliver to my house, which my mom answered the door. They continually insisted that I had not paid for brokerage. Well, I actually paid when they called me at 8:30am to inform how paying online ahead of time would make the transaction buttery smooth. What a load of garbage. Their systems never updated and each person I encountered at DHL reiterated that I still owe them brokerage fees.
The first guy at the counter was nice and understanding. I told him my situation and asked when their systems would be updated with the payment and he said around 11am. Then I told him the delivery guy refused to release the parcel because of that one issue ... at 4:30pm.
I was told that the delivery guy would have the parcel back at the depot by 6:45'ish, so I went home to change. When I went back to DHL @ 7:00pm, I was still being asked to pay up.
I was pretty fed up.

Should have expected it if you read this thread, many people were complaining
I didn't want the hassle since there was a chance that my mom wouldn't be home, and it would be my aunt who answers the door.
Pleasantly surprised to see the nano sim adapter come with the package.

What's more dumb about them is that when they deliver and no one is at home. Instead of leaveing it at the nearly location so you can pick it up. It gets delivery back to where the drivers came from.
So lot's of time I can't go pick it up myself if I miss the package because it got return to Richmond....... and I have to do the whole re router thing on their website to have it delivery to their depot that's near my house and that takes another day or two.....
If you paid already, I think you have to show them the payment receipt printed out etc.
For those of you that got charged duties, has any of you applied for a duties refund since mobile phones are duties free (not tax free)? There's a duties adjustment form on CBSA's website.
thanks, but how do I put the command in when my phone is constantly rebooting and my computer isn't able to recognize the phone and I don't have twrp installed =/
to bring life back to this list, i have one invite to give. first person that PM me from this list will get it. as of 3:50pm i got the email and its valid for 24 hours.

Can you please post the link to this? I tried looking through their importing goods page and cannot see anything that relates to mobile phones. Tia
