Anyone have an issue where their phone wont connect by USB to their computer? Started happening a couple of weeks ago but only having time to really look into the situation now.

My computer (win8) would regularly recognize my phone when plugged in via USB, it has since stopped. USB debugging etc is enabled btw.

Computer still charges battery via USB, so it most likely isnt the wire.

Are you using a cheapo Ebay cable? Try a new USB cable. I have the same issue with my iphone when I used a cheap aftermarket cable for my iphone.

Disable USB debugging.

Been using another cable which had been working since I got the phone, so approx. 4 weeks.

The phone plugs into other computers using the same cable as well (also with the original).
So it seems more like my computer than the wire or phone itself. I've tried downloading Google USB drivers etc and it doesnt seem to detect it.

I have also tried all the setting related things on the phone such as the USB debugging on/off etc.

Probably something with the computer then if the phone is connecting to other computers perfectly fine.

Do you have a backup Android phone? Try testing another phone with that computer and see if it works.

still waiting for OnePlus' own rom. after compare using Color OS and CM11s, I liked the ColorOS much more. Till this day I still don't understand why they partner with CM however it seems like the overseas buyers are really into the whole Cyanogen thing. In my opinion the camera, the battery life, and overall looks are better on ColorOS.

FINALLY FIXED MY WIFI PROBLEM!

had an annoying problem ever since i got it
phone wouldn't automatically reconnect to wifi after i leave the area and i would have to go in and out of airplane mode everytime to connect

i used FXR WIFI fix and rescue which basically wipes all the saved wifi
now my wifi reconnects itself no problem

Finally got my case and tempered glass screen protector. Got the Tudia Dual Layer case. It's awesome, highly recommend it. Full protection and the buttons work great.

Still waiting on invites though; how long did it take everyone to get their invites?

CM is a big name in the user customizability area. Alot of the early buyers are all phone geeks that will have OnePlus spread the word about this phone... When I got mine, Ive told many of my friends about it and now 5 of them have ordered it within the last month...

ColorOS is only on the early versions of Kitkat rom 4.4.2.... it will be awhile before they can get to 4.4.4 then Lollipop.. haha... Im running CM12 beta and loving it.. getting 1.5-2days standby with 3hrs SoT... not bad on a beta rom...

Having issue with my phone now. The screen won't turn on at all. I can see the phone works (when I call it it rings) and the buttons do light up when I press the power button. Any idea how to fix this?

^^ that sucks. I think my phone is back in action now. It ran out of battery last night and when I turn it this morning it saids it needs to charge first before I can use it.

Looks like I have more issue now. On top of my screen black randomly which will be fix with a restart, my wifi won't work now. As soon as I am disconnected from wifi it won't connect again. When I go into settings the Wifi is switch to OFF and I can't manually turn it on again. The only fix I have found is to again restart the phone. I posted my issue on 1+1 forum and it looks like there is a way to fix it but it will require me to 2. First go to cm recovery and click advanced wipe, later download and install Cm11s (44S) factory image rom with fastboot method again. (exact solution) Stupid if you ask me.

For now I have switch back to my old phones. Should have get the Note 4 instead. It might cost more but at least I know I won't have software or hardware issue.

The wifi issue happened to me as well. If you are running BatteryGuru i suggedt you turn off the WiFi management. It worked for my phone wifi has 0 issues now hope this helps.

i don't have any problems except yellow/brownish tint near the bottom (very unnoticeable) my production date was Nov 18. battery life is just as good as 6 plus. however it does still feel cheap compared to iphone. I'm refering to 1+'s JDI IPS display, still not as bright or nearly as sharp as 6 Plus'. Anyone know why?

It might have something to do with the fact that it's 1/2 the price of the 6+

here is a list of things thats wrong with my OnePlus:

- Capacitive buttons are very difficult to see because they are dimly lit and there is no way to adjust their brightness

- yellow/brown tint at the bottom of screen

- screen is unresponsive sometimes have to repeat same motion twice or three times

- the color of the display is not true. not as White and sharp as the 6+'

- sleep/wake button is unresponsive at times, 75% of times it works on one click, other times have to press two times with force

- Camera is not as good as advertised. noise and color is worse than 6+. the focus is so slow and always blurry for some reason.

- battery is okay; can easily standby 30+ hours with 6-8 hrs screen on time
