Anyone flash over to oxygen yet? How is it?

Apparently it's really fast and snappy - but lacking in features. I use a lot of the CM features, so I don't know if I can switch to Oxygen.

That said, you can probably install xposed and just run gravitybox to get quite a few of the features.

Oxygen is better than cm12s. Faster loading, smoother, higher benchmark scores, but use more battery

Xposed is a modding program for android. You need a rooted phone, and then you install the xposed framework - which then allows you to install modules to mod your phone. They can be as simple as an adblocker for youtube (which works really well, but needs to be updated constantly to keep up with the youtube versions), or complex like Gravitybox - which has a huge list of features you can use.

It's pretty cool because with xposed, it's as simple as downloading a new module, activating it and restarting your phone. However, with the introduction of Lollipop, installing it is a little more complicated. I *think* you'll need a custom recovery just to flash (install) the xposed file, but I may be wrong. As well, not all modules work on all phones, so you'll need to do a bit of research before you install them - but generally it's pretty safe to try different ones and just uninstall if it doesn't work to your liking.

Gravitybox works mainly on stock AOSP roms like stock nexus roms. When you install it on a modded rom like CM12, you could get some conflicting things - but I think it would work well on Oxygen.

Flashed CM12s because i got tired of waiting for the OTA.

No issues to report so far, in fact it's rather enjoyable.

Installed CM12 but everytime i unlock my phone it goes straight to the dialer/phone app. Anyone have a fix for it?

are you using stock lockscreen? With the 3 little buttons on the bottom?

Ok so i flashed to cm12s and I'm not able to get any LTE. Anyone else?

check your mobile network access point name (APN) settings. After updating I had to switch back to my rogers LTE APN.

Question: For some reason now when I try to place or receive a call, every time a little dialogue box comes up and says "Contacts" has forced closed.

Haven't changed any settings. Anyone have any idea what's happening? It's super annoying.

I just upgraded to CM12, but one annoyance is that it seems to have added an extra step on the lock screen so that I have to swipe up from the lock button before I can enter my pattern lock.

Is there anyway I can have the pattern lock show up immediately?

I'm not going to bother upgrading if it's going to be like that.

so many things suck about lollipop

- no tabs button for chrome, hard to flip through tabs you already have opened.
- no auto brightness when you pull down from status bar
- no more volume down until silent, after vibrate, now you have to press a button
- lockscreen is swipe up now, preferred the down option on previous update

these are just some of the things that have affected my everyday use of the phone, if anyone knows of any fixes/bypasses that would be great.

unrelated to lollipop, but my phone keeps asking me for google play services authorization, cant remember how to fix that.

You will get used to it or worst case find a custom rom.
