Just got the One Plus X last week;

Heres my experience using for a week:

Pros:
Fairly weighted
Comes with default case and screen protector
Tap to wake up
Draw a V for flashlight
Front facing camera is awesome
Very responsive screen

Cons:
Camera iffy in low light
Lags in games
no backlight in menu buttons
no NFC

might be more stuff, but this is what i can think of since using it.

In regards to wifi and internet and calls; so far so good.
I'm using rogers network LTE so its not bad imo.
Webpages, social media are loading quite smoothly
I haven't been able to test underground reception yet.

I'm quite satisfied with this phone right now. Does everything I need it to.

Gaming should be ok it uses Snapdragon 801 with 330 as the CPU. Not sure if it s2GB or 3GB or RAM. But 1+1 have the same CPU and GPU and gaming on it is fine.

No more LTE option on my oneplus one for some reason? Only allows me to select 4G. Anyone know why?

Do a speed test and see what speed you have. Also maybe try restarting the phone, set it to airplane mode and turn it off again. Or go to network and see what network is connected to. Check APN as well. If still not getting 4g take the sim card out, restart phone and put sim card back in.

mine says 4g on the status bar, but I ran a speed test and got:

ping: 25ms
Down: 35.98Mbps
Up: 2.33Mbps

so I think it's normal for it to say 4G?

^That's definitely not LTE.

Just ran speedtest on my priv (Telus):

ping: 14ms
Down: 57.67 Mbps
Up: 25.26 Mbps

edit: (just so I don't look like an idiot) I thought 4G=LTE. Am I wrong?

Previously before the last two incremental updates I was able to go into network settings -> preferred network type and it would list

LTE (recommended)
4G
3G+2G

Now when I go into the network settings -> preferred network type it only lists

4G (recommended)
3G
2G

So basically I cannot even make the phone attempt to connect using LTE as I was able to before. My speed tests confirm that I am no longer getting LTE speeds.

I used to get 67mbps/37mbps and now I'm only getting 23mbps/5mbps

Pretty frustrating and I've searched online but nobody else to have this issue. Or maybe I suck at searching.

you aren't the only one. my wife's phone with the latest update on her OnePlus is the same thing. APN settings are right. even going into the phone options, its the same as mine and same as before. somehow only allowed to select 4g 3g or 2g. the LTE option is gone. i'm still on kitkat 4.4.4 and still have the old list setting where i can select LTE as an option.

Updated to the newest update this morning and my home button stopped working. It doesn't bring me to my home screen anymore, so now I have to hold down the back button to kill the app just to get back to the home screen.

Anything I can do?

Anyone else having other issues?
