And no, apparently no problems at all from what my dad read online from canadian forums and guys who've sent theirs down, which is kinda surprising
Please let me know how this works out for you and how the triggers react afterwards. I have a couple that I may want done as well, depending on your opinion.
On another note, I ordered a stock a long time ago and finally decided to at least see what I could do with it. My plans were to build a new 10/22 over time, which I may or may not still do, but I had to see what my Boyd's would look like. It is a Barricuda model. I like the look, though I think a shorter barrel and scope would look better. What do you guys think?
they aren't my thing either on larger calibre guns, but on a .22LR they are fun for a while. I have big hands, so most are uncomfortable but Boyds does make some larger sized ones now. I shot a Weatherby .270 WSM with a thumbhole while I was hunting and though the LOP was shortened, the thumbhole fit okay.
My buddy has a sexy 10/22 with the Boyd's stock, and I really liked it. He has everything done to that rifle. The only stock parts left are a few pins, and the receiver.
I didn't think I would like it when he txt'd me a pic of it. But when I actually held it in my hands, it fit so well. I would like to build a short barrel 10/22 with a Boyd's stock in order to stay legal with the 26" minimum length.
My barrel is long because it came from Ruger with the folding stock, so it needed a long barrel to meet legal requirements to be NR. I'll look at a shorter barrel after I get a pistol. Even then, I may have to sell my 30-30 lever to buy the pistol.

I am kind of in the same boat as you, and checked out the Charger pistol.
They're somewhat rare, but they have a huge aftermarket following and it's so similar to the 10/22 that a lot of the little tips and tricks are the same.

is that the special international empty my wallet day? I think the last time i spent around $2k on ammo.. i just remember the weird looks from the people getting off the bus as i had my truck parked infront of the store to load 3 crates 762x39, 4 cases 12g, 4 cases of 9mm
^ I've heard people line up over night for that sale and wheel out dollies of ammo. I like saving money and all, but camping outside of a gun store is not gonna happen.
hypa/incubus - I'm looking at a Dlask 12.5" .920 barrel for my 10/22. Are these good barrels for accuracy and feeding any ammo? Will it thread right onto my stock receiver?
haha yeah we always have our sale same day as reliable it brings everyone out and guys go back and forth between shops.
I believe the dlask should thread on and they make great products alot of people pick up the 10/22 barrel I think there's one in the shop ill take a look.
damn that auto ordinance seen a couple good looking guns I've got love for m1carbine and garand
