Definitely BC. That is the Poco Range on Burke Mountain. Range number 3 to be specific. Yes, SBRs are allowed in Canada. We're also allowed magazine with more than 5 rounds as long as the magazine are aren't classified as AR mags.

I can't say for certain but it looks like PoCo outdoor.

If you look at the guy's other videos, you can tell it is PoCo outdoor range. And when you look at that video, he has the PoCo lanyard and membership card.

Can't say anything about the barrel but the rounds would be right if he was using a beowulf 50 mag.

Dude running and shooting kinda in the video got me nervous though.

I didn't even know there were ranges out there with no firing lines...

I'm pretty sure you're allowed short barrels than 16", they're just restricted. And to transport them anywhere is a bitch because getting an ATT in some places can be hard (you need an ATT from ?police?, letting them know when and where you're going. From what I recall in the firearms course I took)

they make it seem like that but if you fill out your ATT correctly you can basically take your restricted gun to the range whenever you want -- if you took the course with silvercore they will send you a half-filled out form and all you have to do is add in the specifics

edit:

Something like this?

ARs are restricted even if their barrel lengths are 18.5" so you might as well get a short barrel AR.

Yep, AR's are restricted by name not barrel length.
With that said there are advantages/disadvantages to each (longer/shorter barrels)

I want a DD Mk18 and M&p9...one day

but performance is decreased exponentially the shorter the barrel is.

i remember when I bought my AR they didn't have many choices. i could get the full length barrel, or a 16.

the 16 vs. full 20 already has a 10% reduction in velocity and accuracy. basically -10% overall less performance.

shorter barrels also have cycling problems (or more prone to).

my question is, with the velocity loss, and the shitty .223 FMJ rounds we have access to, that means the bullets wont tumble or shatter when they hit the target unless we buy .223 hollow points.

if a .223 bullet doesn't tumble or shatter when it enters the target, then you're basically just making a tiny hole in your target and your weapon is ineffective.

i mean... unless you guys just wanna blow off rounds at the range. but i got an AR-15 for a reason lol. i want the full functionality and capability of the killer round.

you guys with the ultra short barrels, do you notice any problems hitting targets out at 250-350m+?

also where and which type of .223 rounds do you guys use?

LOL you are a stupid cunt. Copy and paste does not mean you have the sufficient knowledge to own a firearm. Maybe i should give the BC cfo a call and have them revoke your firearm license.

Shorter barrel does not always mean less accuracy, but velocity will drop. There is a delicate dance between bullet weight, rifling twist, and barrel length for accuracy.

According to the test I took, and the knowledge I knew at the time, it does. Go ahead, your threats don't mean shit to me. Keyboard warrior. Having a PAL isn't the only legal way in this country to shoot firearms.
