30rnd magazine little to no recoil, because it's on the heavier side fairly accurate i think the price has dropped on them since i bought mine, you can probably pick up a used one fairly cheap. |
Putting the final things together for my two week hunting trip starting Sunday. The new 7mm is coming out, going to air it out. I'm very much looking forward to the silence. |
Be sure to share some of that moose jerky if you guys get lucky out there. :D |
Leaving Sunday as well in hopes for a buck! |

Great to see more inexpensive ar15 kicking around. It helps put people in the right direction who don't want to spend too much on a restricted rifle. |

Any recommendations for an over/under around $2000? I’ve been looking at the citori white lightning as I’ve shot a few of the higher end Browning’s now and have enjoyed them. Recently shot skeet and fucking loved it (first time in maybe 10 years) but also want a bird gun that I’m going to keep for life |

It cost me $346 after tax which is a great price for 5.56. Thanks for the heads up. |

Passed my PAL+ RPAL over the weekend, just need to get a photo, mail in the paperwork and wait. Anyone has a gauge on wait times after submitting? What do you guys recommend as a first firearm? Right now just thinking about getting practice at the range and later down the road I could sea myself getting into hunting. I’m leaning toward a S&W M&P 2.0 9mm with range kit. |
You ask ten shooters what gun to buy first and you will get 20 different answers. Everyone has personal preferences, my suggestion would be to try to get out and shoot as many different guns as possible and find out what you think feels the best in your hands and budget. The S&W you mentioned is popular due to the price tag, and if you like 9mm and semi-autos, then it is a good value. I shot a few M&P's and I never liked their trigger, I shot a Glock much better. I don't own any plastic guns by choice, I prefer metal and larger calibers, but there again is just my opinion. I would recommend a good .22 in both handguns and rifles, though. Lots of practice time behind the trigger at the fraction of the cost of any other larger caliber. |
my first firearm was a ar-15 my dad already had pistols and prohib. Great choice m&ps are great price point pistols, there are good sales going on this weekend at reliable and international. You're more than welcome to buy during the sale and pick it up when your license arrives. I hear the wait times to be 4-6 months. |
There's a way to get your PAL as quick as possible if you're keen to get out there, I can't remember the exact details but I can dig them up again if you like. |

Trudeau said yesterday that he is not against a handgun and assault rifle ban. That would undo the many years of gun freedoms brought upon by the Conservatives. :( |

I got my 5.56 yesterday! Canpar dropped it off at my front door. Needless go say, I was pleased to receive it. |
This is a complete shot in the dark but anyone know someone who might be interested in buying a rarely used Norinco AR 15? w/ Magpul FDE handguard/grip/buttstock + red dot, a couple magazines, and case? Probably best for a noobie who's just getting into the game. |
I’m up in the air over buying restricted guns otherwise I’d be all over it Can call me q conspiracy theorist etc but I’m feeling I’d rather own as many guns as I want without the govt knowing I own any. I feel like the second I have to buy anything I have to register it’s a detriment :/ |

If people are curious on reason I'm just in the process of purging stuff around the house and selling what's worth anything i.e. one of my AR's, WWE Belts etc lol |
My dad has the same gun, or a variant in year. For a Norinco it’s been a great range gun, rarely a problem. If I wasn’t saving up for that new over/under I’d seriously consider it but wife would probably kill me if I ended up with two new guns lol |

Just my opinion, but if a man has his heart on a good O/U, which really should be a buy once, cry once situation, then trying to sway that buying decision to a Norinco AR is a really far stretch. I own both a nice O/U and a custom AR, and the shotgun always wins for me personally on the grin factor scale. HondaRacer - get that big barreled beast. Let's go shooting! |
thats the plan, after shooting skeet at the langley range with my dads buddies who go all the time i'm hooked. Could really see myself getting into it They also shoot quite a bit in Kamloops, i guess theres a lot of tournaments etc there? |
