| AFAIK BMW warranty holds with Dinan components only when installed by the dealership / authorized shops (which in Vancouver pretty much the dealership).

when it's an easy job i go to werners auto klinik -- he's installed headers, O2 sensors, etc. for me, never had any problems (the loaner cars are absolute trash, though).
This dude installed new control arms for me for a good price, and did a good job -- dropped car off in AM, picked up in the PM. No loaner cars though.
MT Auto repairs in surrey - 604-580-8385
But, if my car was new (i.e. f30 with factory warranty intact) I wouldn't screw around -- pay the premium now and avoid the headache later if your car develops any premature drivetrain/suspension defects it might be harder to get warranty coverage. CG Motorsport / Nixon Automotive / BJ Autohaus are places I'd be checking if I was in your position (with preference going to BJ Autohaus)

CG is a GREAT shop, but you wont be saving any money by going there I can almost guarantee. Performance one is your only option other than the dealer if you want warranty. If you aren't concerned about the warranty, speed syndicate is your best choice. Very knowledgeable guys and very trustworthy.

Performance One charges $98 an hour. The per hour rate means nothing, it's how many hours they charge that's the difference. Although Performance One ripped you off hard. They only quoted me 5 hours for install so $492 plus alignment at $120. Still expensive, so I didn't go there.

Edwin @ Dynamic Performance is a cool guy, knows suspension and has an alignment rack. Probably your best bet for a one stop shop.
Garage Five (across the street) may be competitive on install pricing so you could have them do the install and drop it for alignment afterwords. Probably splitting hairs price wise either way but I trust both shops one hundred percent and feel confident giving them my business.

There is a tonne of stupidity in the threads. While I would more likely than not endorse/promote Dinan products, dyno tuning is always subjective. A lot of people do not like their products based on the dollar value and then they shit bricks because they did not get the advertised numbers. For example: Quote:

Their products are thoroughly researched, tested, and manufactured. The bonus of having warranty is a big bonus, as long as your car is still under BMW warranty. While there are many other options that may cost less, as most BMW owners may agree, the moment you turn the screws and modify anything, the car will never be the same.
Or ask dhillon09 about his experience with Active Autowerke.

Yep, these figures are subjective and I wouldn't be surprised it will even get 10hp.

Dinan typically measures HP at the flywheel, not at the wheels.
In the example I posted above, the OP ended up with 416hp. He's also got an xDrive drive train.
Take 416hp and let's just use 40% drivetrain loss. 416hp x 1.40 = 582.4 AWHP. THat's a lot more than the advertised numbers.
Could the dyno be out of calibration? Did the weather work in his favour? Maybe he just had a very lucky day? We don't know. So for these people to whine and complain about "Manufacture XYZ didn't give me promised numbers!" is a waste of time. Any way, I'm taking this beyond off-topic. OP - Good luck on your search for a shop on your suspension install!

I should clarify (my bad)
My calculation is for flywheel HP, not wheel HP.
