mattress (hope this is the right spot) as title says, ive got a pillow top mattress thats maybe 4 years old. its not a flipable mattress, and i rotate it every couple months since my bedroom is quite small making the job extremely difficult. but! i always tend to sleep on 1/3 at the edge of the bed so i can hit the alarm clock thats on my desk. after a few years the edges are no where near as firm as they used to be. anyone know any tricks or tips as to how to get them firm again? or is it a lost cause? i know if you leave a down pillow in the sun for a few hours it'll fully plump them up again...is there any way doing something similar for this? :p |
Put a piece of 1/2" plywood on top. :troll: When shopping for a new mattress... remember they get softer as they get broken in. Especially if you weigh over 200 lbs like me. |
:p I know they get *softer* lol Should replace a mattress every 8 years (does that count for the box springas well??? Posted via RS Mobile |
I bought a hard mattress from highsun. I believe that the harder ones don't really need a box spring and last a lot longer. (30 year warranty) No idea for soft ones. |
