B6 S4 priced like the timing chain tensioners and guides haven't been done BUT they have been done. Km up there a bit but seems like it's been owned by an enthusiast and well maintained, pretty good deal https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...854711649.html 2005 Audi S4 Avant 6 Spd Manual - $11450 (Lower mainland) https://images.craigslist.org/00C0C_...l_1200x900.jpg 2005 Audi S4 6spd MT Avant Silver with black Recaro Interior Cold Weather Package (We all know what that includes) 198,500km - 124,000 miles Selling because my company has handed me a TRD Tacoma for a work vehicle, I don’t have extra garage space for this rare and beautiful machine. I acquired the car as a daily driver this year from a local Audi enthusiast after my B6 Ultrasport Avant was written off by a distracted driver. This is my sixth audi, and my fourth B6. I owned a Nogaro blue S4 in the past, not long before my Ultrasport. The previous owner bought the car essentially stock, and did a handful of tasteful modifications, maintenance, and TLC. The car had a majority of its work done at PG Performance in Surrey, they know the car fairly well. It has been fed Chevron 94 fuel in my ownership, and by the previous. We both have run BLU Synthetic 5w50 oil as per recommendation by PG. The last oil change was <4000km ago and i’ll have it done again when it reaches 5000km. As for the chains, because we all know that it should be the first question asked when looking for a B6/7 S4. The chains were replaced at 112,000km, they do not rattle, slap, or “tick”. There is the usual <1sec noise on startup as the engine builds pressure, and this isn’t everytime (in my heated garage or once its warm they never do it). They do not need replacing, this is per PG Performance and Euro Wrench Werks Auto Repairs (I was paranoid at first, I got two opinions). The chains are said to last 100,000 MILES on average, so consider the car safe well into 200,000km. Modifications: -Continental DWS06 Tires (165,000km) -Kenwood NAV touchscreen heading with handsfree/aux/bluetooth -H&R wheel spacers 12mm front and 20mm rear (165,000km) -Bimecc Wheel bolts (165,000km) -New battery (185,000km) -JHM software tune (162,250km) -JHM Piggie pipes @ PG Performance (162,250km) -H&R Street Performance Coilovers, I must add, these are fantastic (180,000km) -Wheel bearing kit (180,000km) -Control arms, Upper from left/right, Upper rear left/right, bump stops (180,000km) -Thule RS6 roof rack with snow/ski attachment -Smoked HID eurocode headlights <1year old, very clean, no side markers -Matte black euro grilles Recent Maintenance: -Coolent temp sensor -New front wheel bearing (passenger side) -New 034 motorsport transmission and engine mounts -Synthetic oil change and filter -Crank sensor -Starter motor Since purchasing a used German car can sometimes come with unexpected costly repairs, I had the car inspected February 20th, 2019 @ Euro Wrench Werks. Here is the report; -Drivers side window regulator - I will include the OEM part with sale -Oil leak from the front crank seal, sweating, maybe 1or 2 drops after a week -Slight squeak from the serpentine belt, probably do this while you’re addressing the crank seal It is in fantastic shape, amazing car and handles and drives like a dream. These are getting very rare, especially avants in manual. I could reach a fair price on Bring-a-Trailer but i’d prefer to sell it to a local enthusiast.. Get in contact with me, I’d love to tell you more about it. |

There's a top gear article from last Oct indicating one for sale in the UK for between 13K and 15K GBP which makes this one seem like a decent deal if you're into this sort of nostalgia market. White one was for sale at Blitz a couple of years ago? |

The feels seeing a LHD FD for sale. I can't help but wonder if they are concerned about getting a VI. Especially since they mention No VI. |
seeing a LHD mk4 Supra and RX-7 in decent shape still gives me that fizz when you see a real ad... those cars are so timeless. |

I’ve seen a stock red FD at the Oakridge parkade in recent years. |
|
Not a single part of that ad says this is a good idea |

a local Mazda dealer had a brand new FD lying around... (it was auto) I think they restored it back to running shape recently. Force fed or evolution had something to do with that car... |
If only I had $60K lying around 2012 MB AMG E63 Wagon! 88K kms (for good luck), with upgrded 20" wheels, KW coilovers, 550hp beast that will NOT draw VI attention, $55K https://vancouver.craigslist.org/nvn...854655456.html https://images.craigslist.org/00e0e_...Cm_600x450.jpg |
