Higher km, but that's an amazing deal for a 6 spd 2004 BMW M3 - $11500 (Surrey) https://images.craigslist.org/00p0p_...3_1200x900.jpg |
If nothing is fucked, that’s a steal. |
When someone says 450kms to a tank, that means nothing. Obviously it depends on size of gas tank, 45L, 50L, 60L? Any SUVs can get 450 kms on a tank. |

It's closer to 12L/100km in the city, and roughly 9 on the hwy. Pretty good numbers for a car that has decent power and torque for the price. And if you fill in the lower 1/8 of the tank, which is when I did, it's only about a 50L fill. When the gas light comes on theres still 10L of the 65 in reserve. |

Background story: The car was being sold by the mom, because the son who was the owner of the car, died a few months ago in a hiking accident on Mount Seymour (I think there was an article online). Article: https://globalnews.ca/news/4972616/h...cue-avalanche/ There was a boy and a father who was there before me, but they did not confirm whether or not they wanted it. Since they did not confirm, I told the lady that I was a serious buyer and put down a deposit, pending inspection for the next day. After I left, the boy started crying and begged her to sell the car to him apparently. The father ended up paying $14k for the car and she sold it to him. Even though she sold the car to someone else, I'm not mad because the mother got closure, and can now move on with her life. Low-key disappointed that I didnt get to pick up the car tho lol. It was really clean, despite the higher km's. It just wasn't meant to be. On to the next! |

Doesn't sound good to me if he is anywhere close to 16. |

If I had to guess, he looked like he was between 17-19. |
If that's how the kid acts then sounds like it's gonna be totalled within the next couple months. Quote:

1. RIP hiker. No parent should bury their kids. 2. Deposit accepted + pending deal. You should've had first right of refusal. 3. btafgt |
for the price, and hearing the story that it wasn't junk and just needed to go i think i just would have bought it on the spot w/o inspection, but that's just me :drunk: looking forward to destroying this crying bitch kid if he shows up on FB groups though |

I was very close to buying it on the spot, but this would have been my 3rd E46 m3 lol. The last one that I bought, I did not do an inspection, and there were A LOT of hidden things that came up, so that experience kinda haunted me lol. But when she told me the story, it was definitely a curve ball. |
That's one of those nice stories that makes you smile. Until I read about some crying kid. Wah wah. What a bitchass |
