I'm glad the mother got some extra cash out of it. The money it costs to bury a family member is repulsive.
Shame about who got the car though. Sounds like a spoiled little twat unless it was his friends car or something, and he knew the family.

For that good of a deal, I would've shown up with a cashiers cheque for asking price. You can't be trying to get it inspected, someone else will come buy it.
I went to check this car out yesterday, and it was a very clean car.
Background story:
The car was being sold by the mom, because the son who was the owner of the car, died a few months ago in a hiking accident on Mount Seymour (I think there was an article online).
There was a boy and a father who was there before me, but they did not confirm whether or not they wanted it.
Since they did not confirm, I told the lady that I was a serious buyer and put down a deposit, pending inspection for the next day.
After I left, the boy started crying and begged her to sell the car to him apparently. The father ended up paying $14k for the car and she sold it to him.
Even though she sold the car to someone else, I'm not mad because the mother got closure, and can now move on with her life.
Low-key disappointed that I didnt get to pick up the car tho lol. It was really clean, despite the higher km's.
It just wasn't meant to be. On to the next!
I had to read this twice. Initially I read it as the mother cried which I assumed was because she can let go and be at peace.
But after I re-read it
Assuming the kid had no relationship with the one who died and just cried because he wanted the car, well shit, GG father-san. Way to parent.
I was very close to buying it on the spot, but this would have been my 3rd E46 m3 lol. The last one that I bought, I did not do an inspection, and there were A LOT of hidden things that came up, so that experience kinda haunted me lol.
But when she told me the story, it was definitely a curve ball.
So you had the lsb convertible that you shouldn’t have sold. Which other one did you have?
Wow what a post. When I was just a child until maybe 8 years old my mom had one of these as our family hauler. 4 door wagon, pale yellow. I remember at some point our car was broken into (nothing taken, maybe vandilism) and we probably didn’t have comprehensive. My mom was handy so we went to the junkyard and pulled a purple hatch with glass and put it on our pale yellow car.
^^ i don't remember these - which is weird because we had multiple camry and tercel wagons growing up. my neighbour had a nissan MULTI which was pretty dope

Ironically, the Multi/Prairie, is based on the same Sentra/California, in the ad.

as the title states, this is a late model (facelift) 325i sport package, 5 speed manual, sedan.
Car is a rare optioned Oxford Green on a light grey cloth sport seats, according to the VIN it was the 3rd facelift sedan built in Canada and was built to owner's spec. I've only found one picture of this interior on another car after some extensive googling.
Sport package includes: stiffer suspension, factory lowered(0.5"), thicker sway bars, sport seats, 17" sport rims, multi-function sport "T" steering wheel, shorter shift linkages, weighted shift knob and (I believe) a different rear diff ratio.
All recent maintenance done at either CG Motorsports or by myself:
Brand New Fuel Pump
Brand New Alternator
Brand New Alternator Tensioner Pulley
Brand New Accessories/Serpentine Belt
Brand New Guibo / Flex Disc
Brand New Center Support Bearing
Brand New Front Lower control arms (+ alignment)
Brand New Battery
Brand New Front Brake Rotors and Pads
Brand New Passenger side front+rear window regulators/cables/tracks
(lots more in my ownership but not recent enough to be relevant - re-did the clutch + flywheel about 1.5 years ago)
Car also has:
- e39 m5 trunk lip (colour matched)
- Eonon D5150V 7" touchscreen display (bluetooth calls + audio, GPS, DVD, etc.) - https://www.eonon.com/All-Category/D5150Z.html
- satin black front kidneys (not matte black - matches the shadowline window trim that comes with sport package)
- front license plate delete bumper trim (not installed)
Cons:
Front driver's side turn signal is cracked ($40 replacement)
Needs Driver's side HID bulb (I think I have one lying around - moved recently and need to find it)
Handbrake mechanism doesn't click/lock but will still hold the weight of the car when pulled.
Car has been my Daily Driver for almost 4 years now and has been great to me. Handles great in the city and on the highway. Unfortunately I need something different for work at this time.
Feel free to reach out, motivated seller so I'm happy to answer any and all questions.
Text or leave voicemail (I usually don't pickup unknown numbers)

RARE, but not a fan of the seat color.

Oh right forgot that black one haha. Didn’t last long. I miss the e46 m3 but man it was just too easy to get up to speed. If I could I would only like to have one as a weekend car but yeah it’s becoming harder and harder to find one with all the stuff you want.
but how many would buy a used nismo ed when you can get a heritage ed brand new for less?
Isn't the heritage edition mostly a cosmetic package on top of the base coupe? The Nismo is pricey, but does have some goodies like the Rays forged wheels, Recaros, Exedy high-performance clutch, engine + suspension tweaks, etc.
Not sure if its worth the premium though, the stock 370Z for $30k is a heck of a good performance, old car be damned.
