Does it cost USD$55K to have Flyin' Miata install an LS in an NA Miata, YES. The Flyin' Miata build is way more than just an LS motor, transmission and rear end (see list below), yes they're using new crate motors. I guess there are enough people out there without the time or mechanical ability to do a V8 swap, and that's where FM comes in. The other thing you're guaranteed to get with their work is the knowledge that everything works as it should. Yes $55K USD is spendy but if one was considering doing that, why not pick up this car for 1/3 the price?
