No airbag on the EF, so would be fine. Found myself a used momo honda wheel that is off a JDM Honda of the same vintage. will be a nice replacement of the stock EF steering wheel. (rim is too thin imo and not leather) |

Its pretty clear cut which era correct accessories or modification are allowed in Page 4 of the collector application. Which is really only 5 items: wheels, stereo, gauges, roll bar, engine dress up kits. But lets say an era-correct Jackson racing supercharger for a EG Civic? Good luck. |

really don't understand the pushback against aftermarket radio in collector's esp if you gain navigation, you could argue it makes the car safer instead of touching your phone if the body is in good shape with original wheels, and vehicle is mechanically sound and bone stock, who cares? |

If you want to go down that route, just get modified collectors plates if the year qualifies. |
My 94 had an old Clifford alarm installed on it at some point in its life but then at another point in its life, parts of that alarm were removed and some of the wiring looks Frankenstein'd as a result. Now, I'm stuck with a gaudy red interior light that does nothing and a remote keyless entry fob that sets the alarm when you unlock the doors :fuckthatshit: I know alarms are okay bu I hope ICBC doesn't care about stuff like this. |
Why can’t you have navigation on your old stereo? I just plug a Bluetooth adapter into my cigarette lighter and use google maps on my phone through the factory radio on my collector car. Bluetooth music this way too. Done and done. Don’t need an 7” touch screen mounted in the dash. |

Not very knowledgeable on how these things are, but just a hair over 50,000kms, seems like a lot of fun. https://vancouver.craigslist.org/bnc...960157614.html |

'07 has the head bolt issue. One would need to be braver (or more foolhardy...and I've owned an N54 BMW 335i!) than I am to take that chance. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/fo.../110824/page1/ Quote:

so you want the MY to be 2011 onwards to be safe. you can look up engine number as well. but to be extra safe just get any 2012 63 onwards for the updated bolts. If was not a matter of if with these had bolts, but a matter of when they were going to fail. have owned a 63 myself (non headbolt issue one) |

try safely skipping/pausing bluetooth music without a mount, and if you're gonna have a windshield/fan mount, you've already lost on the aesthetics argument if one strictly uses paper maps/ask for directions to cars and coffee in their collector's then i'll admit defeat Quote:
https://revologycars.com/wp-content/...-fastback8.jpg official collector status shouldn't have to mean giving up some modern safety/conveniences that we've come to expect as standard (ABS, nav, airbags etc) |
flips right though, that looks like shit. The whole point of a classic car is to have a classic experience. The fuck do people want bluetooth and crap in a classic car!?!?! Its not like they daily their 58 chevy. |
I don't care if I'm driving a 964 RS. I still want my early 2000s emo playlist via bluetooth when I'm driving. |
just fucking use an ipod with some ear buds. problem solved and you dont ruin your classic car. |

If so, excellent choice. Bolts right up. Best size, feel and weight for oem, imo. |

I still have only a lap belt in my Z. Scares me every time. Hahaha oh but I have Bluetooth on my classic look radio. I’m safe. |
