The last time they made a beautiful M5.

(pricing is out of whack)

LOL, I'm pretty sure this guy bought this M5 not long ago at Urban Garage in West Van for around $50k (which is what it's worth). $85k is crazy.

I bought my 02 e39 m5 for around 8k 2 years ago. It wasn't mint but it was mechanically in good shape. Body was decent. I thought 85k was typo.

I was eyeballing it, toying with the idea of buying it but yeah, priced too high for an '09 Cayenne GTS even though it has a 6MT and seems to be owned by an enthusiast with the $ to keep it well sorted. I think the production number on the 6MT was ~200. There have been a couple of articles on Jalopnik about these rare birds. If it was a better deal I might have gone for it but my new winter ride is already in my driveway, another in a long line of sensible winter car choices...

I remebered seeing its ad in summer 2017 when I was shopping around for SUV.

I feel like $7900 is steep for an ‘06 323i, but it does look nice.

Considering IF everything in inspection and full service record checks out, with 80% tires treads, good brakes, and two sets of wheels, I think it'd be a decent buy if you can get the price down to ~$7000.

I really wish I had the time to go down and pick this up. I had a '70 250CE, manual and this is exactly what I'd want for a family cruiser. Put it on bags and collector plate it.

Just consider that a well maintained 8k BMW is worlds cheaper than a somewhat or unmaintained car at 5k (which is the norm.)
The cost of entry delta between a good car and bad car in this price range is easy to make up in the first big maintenance bill.

Headlights are hazed, the paint doesn't look too astonishing. Got some nice Style 42s. This could be a pretty sweet deal if it comes with service records.

manual are harder to come by with the 323/325's. And being a downtuned engine, these things are more reliable than the 335's.

Not a bad daily driver for less than 8k.

If any of you guys are looking at the S4, the clutch job itself is anywhere from $2000 to $2500, and if the flywheel needs to be replaced, add an additional $2000 to $2500. Great if you are a competent mechanic, or have access to one who won't make so much money from you, but yeah, $5K on a clutch job on a $2K car, you're better off buying a turnkey solution. I'm not a mechanic, so I'm going to run as far away as I can on the S4. Thanks for sharing though!
