What's the mileage on that firetruck? And has the timing belt been changed?

Not bad cuz you can park it anywhere and use HOV anytime.

This was discussed earlier this year and someone mentioned that it likely was a decommissioned fire engine that was replaced with a newer model, not repossessed.

Fun winter beater or a DD
2007 CSX Type S, 250K kms, silver, $3600 (obvious need to get history because it is listed so low but if things are acceptable, this could be a great buy at that price)

If someone here buys it, since it needs brakes, 1st gen TSX calipers/rotors/pads are a direct bolt in and only requires the backing plates be trimmed.

Not going to buy it but why would you use TSX parts, are the CSX Type S calipers/rotors/pads really expensive or hard to source? I assume the TSX brake parts would fit the 2 door version, RSX Type S?

s2000, rsx, 06-15 Si brakes should be all interchangable with the csx-s

Post #16. Bigger pads, bigger calipers, thicker rotors

could be a fake ad that someone is using to try and lower the price more...

17.5k seems a bit too good to be true, even if it needs some repairs.

nah, doubt it - not with BC plates, and a phone number. It's been ridden hard and put away wet. It's in an undesirable location, and it has issues.

I don't mind it. - Seller is realistic and will be able to tell lowballers to STFU

Tempting to be able to say "my winter beater is an RS4"

seems pretty real.

seller would be a dude that just won't be bothered by inquiries and offers, just wants a straight forward sale.

condition of car and recon costs reflect the price. nice price. wonder how the shocks are ($$$$) and clutch is. brakes get pricey too. will be an insane winter beater, just needs a roof box to haul crap.
