Low KM EH9 Sedan (that didn't have A/C) that was posted a few pages back is up for grabs again, with added goodies.

Market place links are sometimes finicky, lmk if this does not work for others.

Reads like a ricer ad. "Enkei wheels with racing tires".. well at least they're decent tires - a little old tho. Direzza ZII. Tein shocks/springs isn't bad. Not great, but it could be worse. Not sure about that intake tho. Not bad of a buy for the mileage, I guess. Hope you can de-rice the Liverpool crap tho

It will come off, they are just decals/stickers, just need heat gun + rubbing alcohol & polish..... Those decals could help with negotiating a better price :lol

rubbing alcohol won't take 4k off the price. Low miles doesn't mean much if the seller is questionable. 8k 4 bolt w a bunch of pep boys parts isn't a very good buy. I like 5k and under ep3's.

twitchyzero 09-17-2019 11:13 PM

that's what the new type-r will look like in 15 years :heckno:

I don't mind it. - Seller is realistic and will be able to tell lowballers to STFU

Tempting to be able to say "my winter beater is an RS4"

seller would be a dude that just won't be bothered by inquiries and offers, just wants a straight forward sale.

condition of car and recon costs reflect the price. nice price. wonder how the shocks are ($$$$) and clutch is. brakes get pricey too. will be an insane winter beater, just needs a roof box to haul crap.

Hey RS Could use some help, i need a winter car and this seems like an awesome candidate compared to a WRX/STI. I have minimal experience with Euros and never owned an audi. Can anyone familiar with these cars or Audi experienced ballpark a figure on how much I should put aside to get this in top shape with preventive maintenance done?

trollface 09-18-2019 08:15 AM

Take the maintenance cost of a beat-up STI , multiply it by 2, now multiply it by 3 again.

Now take a stack of 100's and throw it in the sewer. That is the experience of owning a 175K + beat up RS4.

Nobody in here is going to have a slight shred of information compared to a PPI. It could need 1k as easily as it could need 10k. My guess would be closer to the top end, but who knows.
Once all is up to snuff its not too hard to deal with even the worst of the euro cars, but the deferred maintenance is a savage hit out of the gate most people aren't prepared for.

Don't STIs blow motors every 5 minutes?

I'm surprised I still see them every once in a while. Also surprised Subaru never fitted them with a stick shift.

twitchyzero 09-18-2019 11:10 PM

dont quite understand the svx

alfa-style body with subaru powertrain? the windows are cool...that's about it for a non-subaru fan

it's like they wanted to commit but gave it a slushbox only

for italian designed imports i'd rather have

It was meant to be a luxurious neo-Tokyo style grand tourer. Remember this was during a time when Automatics were seen as futuristic and a premium option.

I see it as the Japanese equivalent to the BMW 8-series (manuals were extremely rare), or Astons at the time.

B16, EK hatch, $3k

I would've at least painted the VC and got rid of the AC lines, prior to listing. Which has me wondering, I've never seen a hatch with AC.
