It is a great car, great price, loved my 4.7. Just save up for a $7k clutch job and $4K brake job.
That's honestly not too bad. That's about how much money I spent on my 330 in my 1st and 2nd year of ownership - and I daily it. I should nick name my 330ci, "myfinancialmistakes" ::
Edit: my spreadsheet shows i spent an Aston's clutch job, and 2x brake job. Bigger fail fish

These cars are like suffering from death by a thousand cuts. The price of entry is reasonable, however the price of replacing worn parts is enough to scare me away.
Astons are beautiful! Absolutely worth it but like any exotics you gotta pay to play. I think it’s reliable ish. Kinda just like my mazy
Neither cars are crazy fast but they have a lot of theatre when you drive them. I’d argue my maz sounds better but that’s completely personal. Just put away 5k a year for maintenance and fixes and you’ll be alright. Don’t put too many miles on it either.
I wouldn’t want an ex USA car though. Just the lack of visibility is a bit worrying especially when it comes to exotics. You want a car that’s been serviced on time every time at the authorized dealer.
Who cares ?? My IS300 is missing one right now too cuz the key lug broke and I didn’t get around to replacing it yet... is the wheel going to fall off? No! Of all the things to pick on with a used car... lol
If a driver rolls around 24/7 with missing lugnuts I would be questioning how high his give a fuck meter is when it comes to maintenance and general upkeep of the car. I'll eat a my driveway if the guy that rolling around with missing nuts changed his air filters once a decade. Sure as shit didn't rotate the tires or way too cheap to drop 3 bucks on a new nut. The chances of that thing drinking Motomaster oil it's whole life is moderate to high when a replacement lugnut requires financial planning. That or he cant figure out how to put a new one on.
Not sure which is worse. Not saying this is you, but I see his point. Just like a 2008 S4 rolling around on Sumomoto tires. You tell me.
