Back in 2015 a nismo 350z was probably still 20-25k ish? Figure something fairly decent would have to happen to write it off? Maybe not, never dealt with a rebuilt vehicle

I knew I had an eye for good value clean cars.

Also keep in mind if the payout minus salvage is less than the cost to fix they'll write it off. So expensive or rare parts increase the salvage value and increase cost to fix. So even more likely to be written off.

Not that rare to find a 4motion auto sportwagen. One with a manual is going to be hard to find. The trendline cloth seats are hot garbage.

Spotted a red 6MT alltrack around June. Canada's getting the base mk8 golf - fingers crossed the wagon comes too.

Alltracks are definitely nice but they list for >$30K.

I personally don't shy away from high k BMWs either- they wouldve needed quite a bit of work by previous owners to get to that k (and to still be running).

But that's just me.

The 5x100 wheel thing should no longer be a limitation since FRS are on that bolt pattern as well, and there is a ton of aftermarket support for the FRS sizes now.

The silver one is my buddies car. Motivated to sell. When he bought it in 2012 it inspired me to buy one too and I ended up with a '07 Limited. Even though it has a few issues, he has had a lot of work done to the car over the years. He would have receipts.
