These 135i's are hidden gems, they depreciate more than any other BMW, so you can usaully find them cheap. $1,000 in parts/tune gets you to 400HP and you have BMW performance with one of their lightest platforms.

But my 06' was the pinnacle of the STi brand. The electronic diffs would not allow that car to break traction. It just stuck to the road. Totally different styles of driver's car. But both were a lot of fun in their own ways.

More the reason to like the 2004 more as I personally prefer the raw feeling and tail happy goodness of a “fun car”.

Wouldn't say that's a great deal, the 4th gen TL wasn't loved. The 3.7 305hp v6 and sh-awd were great but heavy and the car itself drove hefty. With the damaged door and front bumper I would say 7 is fair.
Here's one with no damage and less km for $8500 https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...976240868.html |

Oh it's so cool, I want to believe it's real.
Maybe the seller is not tech savvy enough to upload photos to CL so he just used stock photos found on te interwebz? It drives me nuts having to convert heic images to jpeg to use them on CL...
The description seems legit with the seller talking about going into Jaguar Richmond to complete the sale.

^ or it's some weird tactic to get people to go to the dealer. "Too bad he didn't show up, but while you're here want to take a look at our excellent used inventory?"

Here's one with no damage and less km for $8500 https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...976240868.html | I’ve got a 4G and while I wouldn’t be tossing it into corners, they are pretty decent handling cars for the size. Make sure timing belt was done on cars over 160k and trans/rear diff fluids are done every second oil change. My only gripe is the poor fuel economy and premium fuel, but I drive less than 5000km a year so it’s negligible.

F types have held their value it seems. Not exactly sure why that is when the comparable Mercedes and BMW coupes / vert have dropped like a stone.

Unless you mean Jag f-Types, then I have no idea.

If anyone is looking for a new / near new Boxster: https://www.autotrader.ca/a/Porsche/...0831155617597/
asking $74k, 500km on odo, appears to be a "stripper" Boxster S
For what it is worth, a brand new Boxster S MSRPs at $81k, so you are getting a $7k / 8% discount for the 500km on the odo. It appears to be a stripper model, with no optional equipment on the car at all.
If I were looking for a Boxster, this would have been very tempting...
