It looks like shit on the outside, but I can't tell from how it drives that it was in an accident...

That said, I don't care... I just wanted to steal its soul (engine+tranny) :shhh:

Thus why the names all changed now

A-class = CLA
C-class Sedan/coupe/wagon
E-class Sedan/Coupe/wagon = CLS = AMG GT-4 door (okay this doesn't make sense)
S-class Sedan/Coupe

GLA
GLC
GLE
GLS

kinda works

roastpuff 10-23-2019 08:51 AM

the K used to be for "Kurz" or short.

Quote:

The former name "SLK" was derived from sportlich (sporty), leicht (light), and kurz (short)

Apart from absurd lowballs, what price would you guys think would be a good buy price, for a 2006 IS350, with over 200k?

Anywhere from 500 bucks to 10k.

No trim/specs details
No condition details
No accident details
No maintenance details
No actual mileage

tofu1413 10-23-2019 01:10 PM

i got $3.

More deets please. Based on what I am seeing on the market, maybe 6 or 7. I know examples with half the mileage go for around the low teens.

Lol all the sellers locally think their is350 is made of gold. It's not an ISF

2008 NC Miata Power Retractable Hard Top (with mods) -- $14k / 150k km

https://images.craigslist.org/00H0H_...4_1200x900.jpg

I'm 99% certain I know who the owner is. The owner used to autox the car, and took it to the track a small handful of times as well. There is a ton of taseful mod done to the car, and that makes it a good value. At 150k km, there is still a lot of life in the engine.

looks like the market for toys have been getting soft lately. local economy slowing down for sure.

dark0821 10-24-2019 09:31 AM

That and the constant fear of VIs

How does the Z4M drive compare to the much cheaper E46 M3? Is is just due to the rarity that it commands a premium. I dunno how much lighter/nimble the Z4 is? Big driving experience difference?

^ I was really considering that $9000 - 2004 STi you posted a while back... emailed the seller

-then my leg broke (on clutches at the moment)

-and saw the pic of the exhaust and was like... hmm... saw posts abt people getting towed at Metrotown (not just Vancouver)... and was like nope nope nope.... (too old to worry abt getting a VI every time I leave the house)...

=P

trollface 10-24-2019 09:31 AM

I mean, it is 30,000 for a 16 year old car.

dark0821 10-24-2019 09:36 AM

^ with a rebuild title...
