looks like the market for toys have been getting soft lately. local economy slowing down for sure.
It's rebuilt. If clean I'd be posting in 2019 official whip thread right now.

Yea I don’t think the price is that much cheaper considering the title.

*insert triggered comments about how title doesn't always matter*

Was talking to a guy at Misson Raceway who drives a Black Z4M, in Group A. He said, compared to the E46 M3, it's more disconnected? Because you're sitting way further behind, everything is reactive, you're responding to the car, rather than controlling the car.

Ahh good point... I never thought of it that way... interesting.... gives me a brand new perspective on the Ferrari V12s, VIPERs and SLR/SLS....

The guy clearly has way more experience then I do(I don’t really agree with him), but I know exactly what he’s talking about when you feel you are behind. I feel the same way in my Z. Basically getting sucked around every corner. It’s a super strange feeling. You definitely know when the back is stepping out. I like it. Lol

e86 z4m has a good 250lbs on a cayman S from the same era
biased but i definitely love the classic fastback coupe profile more
hard to believe it was limited to 3 years, no one was buying them and would rather get the roadster?

don't get me wrong it's subtle and classy and is the first example to come to mind when someone mentions saloon

seems like most owners dont keep it long: once the honeymoon phase is over like you're in a car chase in Ronin, you probaby realize milage too awful for dailying, tracking it adds up very fast on consumables/ throwing any shred of reliability out the door

so what is it good for that the e90 m3 at can't do at 25-30k+ that's likely just as rare and comes in a taut package? v8 for v8 does the S62 sound a lot better?

I don't think this is actually a thing. I think what it's referring to (from wiki):

Quote:
Subaru issued several changes in 2008 for the 2009 model year, known in the UK as the WRX-S. The EJ255 engine received an output boost to 265 hp and 244 lb⋅ft of torque by swapping the previous TD04 turbocharger to an IHI VF52. This led to the car now achieving a 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) time of 4.7 seconds, as tested by Car and Driver.
Seller also says that it's faster than a Porsche 997. Wrong, even at the base level (non-turbo version). According to Car and Driver, the 2009 Carrera does 4.3s in a 0-60mph and the Carrera S does a 4.1s. Seller also says that it's faster than a GR WRX STI, which according to MotorTrend, it did a 4.7s, for the 2009 MY.

Sounds like it's the seller's attempt to make an unofficial special edition out of his car, via a model year facelift. Also key note, this is the non-widebody version (GH). The widebody WRX hatch (GR) didn't come out until 2011, along with quad exhaust tips and firmer rear subframe bushings.
