I should have added "offer not available to RS lurkers". Got tons of response now that it's free, mostly from RS lurkers or people who just have an account to sell stuff. Aka people who don't contribute to the community.

Anyway, this is now pending, to a RSer who actually contributes to the community.

Just see if they actually fit the persons car. Nothing is worse than some broke skid fuck taking someones kind offer and flipping it for money.

It would be disappointing if I see them on craiglist/facebook market place the day after...

Perhaps so but an ex Quebec, ex Seattle, 260,000kms+ example is probably not the one to buy if you are banking on appreciation.

I messaged about this MS3 a month ago. It was listed for about the same price on Craigslist with different photos and the seller was located in a different part of Vancouver. The ad was deleted a day later so I assumed the car was sold.

I remember the Fire Dept sticker in the windshield so it's most likely the same car. Kind of weird that someone would buy and sell it for the same price in a short time span unless the car has issues.

tofu1413 11-07-2019 10:34 AM

buddy probably showed up with 1200 at the door and picked it up for next to nothing.

Bit weird however as the pictures show an Ontario plate.

Holy cow, if that thing has some maintenance history and isn’t due for a pile of deferred maintenance, that is a really good buy. I LOVE that color combo! rare and tasteful.

That's concerningly cheap for what appears to be a clean 6th gen. Especially since it'll be US legal shortly and Americans are currently paying way too much for these cars. Though as you said the guy spent most of the ad talking about his other vehicle so he might not be paying much attention to the market.
