Hey guys, is $8900 too much for a 2008 Honda Civic Si sedan with 150,000km? Clean title with a recent clutch replacement.

Been sort of looking for one recently and their resale value is holding pretty firm

Fafine 11-08-2019 11:02 AM

I got a 2009 civic sedan si 15x 000 km for sale soon if you're interested, clean titled.

Nah that seems to be right around the ballpark, I wouldn’t say that is crazy high by any means

tegra7 11-08-2019 11:53 AM

^Having owned one in the past I personally wouldn’t pay more than 7k for a clean tile 8th gen si.

Damn... This $2k Type S beater is tempting...

Given the rebuilt status, I wonder how bad the collision damage was (I am just assuming that it was written off due to a collision), and whether the repair job is up to sniff?

dorian 11-08-2019 12:45 PM

i sold my 08 si 3 years ago for 8500$ with 180kms so i think that one is a bit expensive

Lol ever time I see Somone here claim that something is a great “beater” I don’t imagine a person who is buying a beat up civic to drive in the snow while their Porsche sits in the garage, I picture Somone with like 4 half broken down vehicles adding one more to drive through the winter lol

Badhobz 11-08-2019 03:01 PM

i need a beater for my beater.

1) buy car
2) modify car
3) buy beater to protect modified car
4) modify beater
5) buy another beater to protect the 1st beater that you like too much to use as a beater

etc, etc
