The run of the mill 4 banger turbo is nothing really special, but this particular 35i M Sport is a different animal. I've only had 2 short stints, it drives like a 1 series that's rides slightly higher and a couple extra doors.

Apples to oranges comparisons in my honest opinion. X1 35i is more like a car than SUV where the Forester is the other way around.

Just for fun, I checked ICBC papers and sure enough, they listed my E92 M3 as "7 speed manual"
