Brand new, convertible, cheapest on CL.

Someone's experimenting with edibles. Lol

snowfarmer 03-22-2020 08:00 PM

would it be possible to move the "Fails" thread out of off-topic and into Vancouver auto chat? It might clean up the "good buys thread?

The Vibe and the A3 are already sold so I guess some people are buying cars.

Teriyaki 03-22-2020 08:24 PM

The Legacy was sold too it seems. Hope some RS'sers picked up the cars. Always gives me a kick to see the "after" photo

$2000...... full parts car...

lots of down time nowadays, time to put a V12 into something.

Traum 03-23-2020 09:51 AM

I'm surprised that (private used) cars are still selling. Even if I were in the marking looking for a car, I wouldn't want to go out to interact with people outside my household...

tegra7 03-23-2020 01:02 PM

How reliable are these vr6 Jetta's?

I sold a couple spare printers and a lawn mower on the weekend. I just put them outside for the buyers (doesn't work for condo dwellers). People have a lot of time to surf the net and many businesses are closed so used sales haven't slowed that much.

Going to a broker for registration and insurance is the part I dread.

lady was talking to me on the phone while i showed her my documents through storefront window...i returned old plates via mailslot

what a time to be alive

fliptuner 03-23-2020 06:03 PM

Luckily I have a good relationship with my broker. I just send pics of the transfer/reg and he sends a driver with the paperwork to sign and plates/decals

The Producer 03-23-2020 08:21 PM

just cancelled insurance on one of the cars.

dude did the transaction in literally 30 seconds. i was supposed to go outside and call him but he just knocked it out. 1 signature w my own pen.

wtf does it take 15 minutes every other time?

whitev70r 03-23-2020 08:40 PM

ICBC is going to take a huge hit with so many people taking their cars off insurance during this time of restrictions.

underscore 03-23-2020 10:06 PM

^ but fewer accidents and injuries too.

This easily covers the lower registration.

whitev70r 03-24-2020 07:03 AM

True to the above and this will really save ICBC, fewer fraud claims. And hopefully fewer moron N Lambo, R8, Ferrari accident claims.

GLOW 03-24-2020 07:17 AM

or the opposite, said moron N lambo, R8, Rerrari owners see empty roads and think it's their own GT5 course EleGiggle

!Aznboi128 03-24-2020 10:31 AM

just waiting for the day that people go on the highway for drag races

GLOW 03-24-2020 01:03 PM

nightowl 03-24-2020 02:50 PM

These guys are pretty 'special'.

The DVP's onramps are Upper Levels short but with even more blind corners.
Mans could've gone to the airport or OPP territory instead.

Based on the price, the mileage has me suspicious on condition. Could still be a good buy.

twitchyzero 03-25-2020 09:56 AM

dont wanna start a new thread as it pertains to car buying

to the guys with gas guzzlers, how important is variable valve/timing in v8 toyota trucks?
