Given the asking price and the exchange rate (USD:CAD) that roughly translates to a $55,000 CAD M3. My guess is he's trying to capitalize on the impacts of COVID-19 and the currency fluctuation.

Assuming no ZCP on this listing.
I've been trying to find this color combo e92 m3 for a long time. Particularly, a mineral white on fox red, ZCP, CF roof, DCT and LCI (2011-2013). So far no luck for the past 1.5 years. | Not a ZCP.
That is a rare combo you're looking for. Can always convert to the fox red interior which is quite common on the forum, unless you're looking for the leather dash as well.

Not in a rush to sell = My car is over-priced but my perceived value > actual market value
Almost as good as the "feeler post - thinking about selling my ____" Oh please, please allow me to buy your thing and overpay because I'm so keen and you're just thinking about selling. I have yet to see a "feeler post" with the item actually reasonably priced.
In case I sound all mad and ranty, I'm laughing about this as I type it in.

I don't mean to derail the thread but I have mixed feelings and opinions on "feeler" threads.
Most of the time, it's some high school kid who spent WAY too much money on a car they couldn't afford, modded it to the tits, and tries to sell it in hopes that they could recoup all the parts and labour that went into it. And when you make an offer, ask for a pre-purchase inspection and whatnot, they get all huffy and passive aggressive.
And then there are those who just want to test the market to get a "feel" for the perceived value on the market. These are just time wasters, and in my experience, some of the most annoying. AutoTrader has a pretty good benchmark of market value, so just use that.
And then there is the third type of feeler ad, genuinely posted by someone who has a specific buyer in mind. My Porsches were originally feeler threads, and the owners were honest about the reason they were selling (and it's not because they had to, or needed to.) This would be an example of the seller buying the buyer, or the other way around where the buyer is buying the seller (however you want to put it.) These types of feeler ads and transactions are rare.

5k with all those parts mentioned? you would have to low ball the guy heavy....... but even 5k after tax, just for the car......wouldn't be bad.

no - i mean 5k to get the car. having said that, I'm told the car has been for sale for over a month. in these covid times I'd prob try a 4500 take or leave it offer.
I've taken a cheap watercooled porsche gamble - it worked out for me, but it can go either way. Still, an "S" has lots of good stuff on it if you did have to part it. I think you could break even no matter what on this one.

I dont see the front bumper intake in the middle thats supposed to be on Boxster S.
Also the shift knob pattern is for a 5mt not a 6mt a Boxster S is supposed to have.
Most likely just a Boxster non S.
