Very cool! Exact same color combo as mine. This is the last year of the E34. Has the desirable wide-nose grille / hood, painted lower valences and dual air bags. Suspension / Brakes are also updated, better than the early E34's.
This particular model has the extended leather as well as full wood trim, worth quite the pretty penny for these specific pieces when shopping for them on ebay. This model also doesn't have traction control optioned (a good thing), but has the headlight sprayers and I spy a rare coin holder in the door pocket.
$6-7k is worth it IMO. Has low KM, and will probably be pretty reliable with a few small things that are common on E34.

My how far we've come regarding "extended leather". These days, "extended leather" means everything aside from the carpets and the window switches are leather

Wow that light interior does not age well. I suppose they often don't.
I'd say 5k is a good price if everything is in decent shape and the interior isn't worse off than it looks in the photos.
I have no idea what the mode selector does on a manual. I figured it was just the shift points on an auto (it's my family car don't judge).
It's still in STI's today. The new ones adjust both throttle and transmission but I think back in 08 it probably only sharpened the throttle response

Or you meet some girl at the club, cum inside of her, find out shes only in grade 12, so you buy a Prada bag for her to make things right, she finds out the bag is a fake and decides to have the kid

One is 150k, other is 225k (though the first quotes as "miles", so gotta clarify if its US car)
One is facelift version, one isn't.
The blue one is modded too, lightly but likely been driven harder.
I bet he could cut the price in half and it still won't sell. Plus he didn't bother to wash the car for pictures, helps to hide the scratches? Both bumpers are scuffed, missing 2 wheel badges, still on winter tires, drivers airbag not sitting very well. If you are asking top dollar you can't present it like you don't give a shit about it.
I was looking for an E46 M3 for a friend in the states and came across this cool buy. I never knew E46 M3 was offered in Individual Dakar Yellow II. Looks like Silver Titan trim, interior is definitely worn, tires have orange stains/rust (?) but is sub frame reinforced. Average US (120,000) miles for the age, but high for Canadian - about 191K KMs. For 20K USD, probably not a good buy, but defs a cool find.

Individual cars will always command a premium - there are guys on BF that specifically try to buy these cars up for resale.
not sure what this means "1 of 57 Individual Dakar Yellow's make in 2005! For sale - not ON SALE. This is one of the vehicles in our personal collection - it will be shown by appointment."
I guess they "know what they have". I'd still go in lowball guns blazing, nothing to lose w a dealer - they can't be insulted and will always negotiate in my mind.
