everybody loves the story of the skunkworks BMW team designing these cars on coffee breaks and weekends. obviously it's 1000000% stiffer. :gay: |
the clown shoe definitely seems like an acquired taste but i'm glad they made it...i can't deny its road presence and it's head turner like the Turbo 5 e86 has the more classic coupe/fastback sex appeal https://i.pinimg.com/originals/e7/01...a40d9f8cf0.jpg |
DEF. not a good buy "Not needing to sell and I know what I have, email me with your thoughts!" Im really tempted to email him my thoughts. if he lowered the price by 21k i might be interested :) https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...106903395.html |

The last time I bought a turbo car with a questionable tune, I blew a HG in the middle of Kingsway right in front of a ramen joint where a few of my friends were conveniently dining. They had come out from inside to see where all the smoke was coming from and found out it was me :lol |
Do auto crvs have any Honda transmission issues? Thinking of one as a beater |

If I remember correctly, you can't get an OEM bushing for the rear knuckle, it only comes installed inside the actual knuckle itself, which is $$$. Also the torque converters get all weird once you're near 300k. Also, Honda loved fitting insufficient brakes onto all of their SUVs, CR-V included. My Element, as well as other high mileage CR-Vs I've driven, all had warped rotors. The rotors on my Element kept warping over and over and over again, it was the most fucking frustrating thing ever. When you change the rear rotors, the fronts warp, then the rears warp again, repeat by infinity until you get around to doing a TSX brake swap or something. |

My parents have a 1st gen (98 I believe) that they passed down to my brother when it hit 400k (replaces it with an 09) and he’s still driving it. I’d imagine it’s well over 500k now and, to the best of my knowledge, no major mechanical issues (unlike his Range Rover piece of fucking shit which has been sitting in their driveway for like 6-7 years) |
