If my parking spots weren't overflowing I'd have that, a set of KWs and some 15x8 RMs by the end of the week.

Yup, my 84 Rabbit L was the same story.
Doesn't matter how well you treat it (best fluids, OEM parts etc.), it will always find new and interesting ways of breaking!

That's interesting. We had an 84 Rabbit by Karmann. That thing was totally indestructible.

Yeah my experience is anything golf related mk4 and below were extremely reliable and bulletproof. This is coming from friends and family coming from multiple mk3/4, multiple mk2 and one rabbit.

2008 911 C2S, 23k kms, $55k with what appears to be a Vorsteiner kit? Anyone know the history of this car?

bcrdukes 05-11-2020 10:22 AM

westopher 05-11-2020 12:35 PM

Other than the sc those were not dollars well spent.

TouringTeg 05-11-2020 01:02 PM

Reminds me of the drift style body kit from the 90s/00s

68style 05-11-2020 01:24 PM

Would look a million times better just by dumping the wing!

Ding 05-11-2020 02:13 PM

Isnt that the 997.1 gt3 rs wing?

I would just replace the front bumper and wheels.

It is a Full body kit (Bumpers, Trunk Spoiler) from Vorsteiner
Everything Vorsteiner

I was very insterested in that car. Low Mileages, very well price for 997.2 C2S (sorry, it is 997.1)

vitaminG 05-11-2020 03:46 PM

That things been for sale numerous times over the years. Was 45k on Craigslist before I think

Ding 05-11-2020 04:25 PM

Isn't 2008 a .1?

bcrdukes 05-11-2020 06:01 PM

yes, .1

09+ is .2. It's when they got rid of IMS problems and most .2s didn't suffer from bore scoring as compared to .1 models. .2 models currently demand quite a serious premium today.

Hcoreposer 05-11-2020 06:15 PM

Probably going to get a few failed posts on this but

No price tag on this but a feeler post. E36 M3 sedan Techno Violet. High mileage 223k

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rch...122052178.html

Not sure if this is good as there isn't much price comparisons. Widebody M235i.
