That 996 has been for sale at Foward Auto for quite a while. They tend to price high and sit on them. One is the go to Indy Porsche mechanics in Victoria. Seems like a good driver or track car. It crossed my mind a little while back. |

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rch...127611812.html Not “cheap” but a good buy if it’s something you wanted to build. Such a nice car and the owner is a solid dude. https://images.craigslist.org/00F0F_...t2_600x450.jpg |
https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...127709288.html $1,995: needs a little work but looks fairly clean https://images.craigslist.org/00d0d_...t2_600x450.jpg |

2009 Golf GTI, 177K kms, lowered, manual so you don't have to worry about DSG failure, new clutch, nice little boost gauge, TFSI engine, fun daily, $6900 https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...122669672.html https://images.craigslist.org/00h0h_...b0_600x450.jpg |
those mark V GTi are nice looking little cars. wonder how they are to own. |
^ Same. I've always shied away from German cars, not sure if these are a pain to maintain. At $6900 thats not too bad. |
westopher had an mk5 GTI - he didn't hate it. See if he chimes in. I had a deal done to buy a new one (same exact spec as above) from Clarkdale but the salesman dropped the ball. Gave me time to go drive an R56 Mini turbo which is still in my mind a much more fun car to drive (but not as practical) |
