I think these were the run out model for the M235i. still at least a 10k difference. This is basically an individual build, and I imagine will at some point hold pretty good value. The 135IS 's are almost impossible to find over regular 135's and are way more expensive. I'd rather have this extremely unique limited build car than an M2

The BMW meet last week looked like the front lot at Autowest. x10 M2's all looked the same. Wonder what the combined lease payment was? trololol

the wife's got a Melbourne Red M235i 2wd with the MPE and M performance aero.

she loves the thing. I drive it once in a while and its a treat to drive.

2WD, super balanced car. in the real world it felt that the car was faster accelerating at high speed than my M2..... (maybe because narrower body car and less drag)

Poor man SLR 722 stirling moss - SLK 55 AMG.. drove one before and its quite entertaining to drive.

Can't be a type s, doesn't come in that color, and doesn't have a high red line.

I've always wondered if there smaller engine s classes are more economical on gas, or if they are still pigs as they still have to carry that much weight. And it still has airmatic to fail.

The Type S has a 6 speed manual as well, no? I wonder if its a base RSX with a K20A2 swap...

This.

I remember back when RSX was just launched, I specifically told the salesman I was disappointed the Type-S didn't come in Desert Silver Metallic

That and the Type-S was 6-spd manual

That's correct, including the 6 speed manual.

Ad doesn't mention anything about a swap.

Base motor is easy to tell, it has the black plastic intake manifold.

Also just noticed wheels look cheaply rattle canned to mimic type-s gunmetal wheels (base & premium were silver)

He probably would have raised less suspicion and sold it to a newb teen if he set the price closer to $6500.

That RSX ain't a Type S. Some have already mentioned but
1) silver intake manifold on the Type S vs black plastic
2) brake calipers just clear the rim on Type S vs large gap
3) front lip + sideskirts + washer nozzle are body colour on type s vs black plastic
4) paint colour was never offered in Type S
5) 6spd on type S vs 5 spd
6) rims look to be black. Should be gunmetal on Type S.

My best guess is that's a non-type S Premium trim

Nobody spending $2,000 let alone $25,000 on a car they can’t test drive, just saying.

If you’re talking about the porsche, that looks rough as hell. There’s even silicone calking holding on some vent under the rear hood
