It's just a picture of a car with sounds overlaid on top? Otherwise the car would do the rolling motion from revving the engine.

320icar 07-01-2020 10:22 AM

It’s a very smooth engine :p

I really don't see the point of exhaust vids if the cars just sitting there in neutral. You kinda need to hear it under load to really get a feel

relevant new video on the outgoing V8

LC sounds amazing, RCF and GSF still sounds underwhelming but i'm than happy for endless or white rocket to let me try LUL

I have been inside an LC, and it sounds glorious from the inside... Dare I say it, even exotic...

Is it just me, or does it seem like Focus RS values are dropping quite a bit lately.

JDMDreams 07-03-2020 07:52 AM

I've been seeing Golf R for high $20s not sure if those are good deals. But I think a golf r should be more premium feeling than a Rs

Just you. That RS has accidents and has 120k km (in 3 years WOW). All other RS still hover around 38-40k

October 2019 to May 2020, the owner drove over 50,000km in that short time period according to the car fax.

Must of looped around Canada and the US a few times.

Jmac 07-03-2020 01:17 PM

I mean, it's an average of 283.5 km/day. Most of it could be commuting.

I know several people who used to/currently make insane commutes like Port Alberni to Duncan, Sidney to Nanaimo, Cumberland to Nanaimo that would come close to that.

Assuming 135 days of commuting in 199 days:
Port Alberni to Duncan is ~268 km round trip (~36,200 km)
Sidney to Nanaimo is ~258 km round trip (~34,900 km)
Cumberland to Nanaimo is ~210 km round trip (~28,400 km)

Dealer I worked for before got us to drive a car out to a client just to test drive, overnight at that. That 2 staff, with 2 cars, out for a possible deal on one car. Probably a known client or previous longtime customer or something.

Ask if you really want it. Worse they can say is no.

twitchyzero 07-03-2020 08:04 PM

I can drive it to you if you lemme keep it for few days :)

68style 07-03-2020 08:37 PM

Why would it be a problem, that Golf is entirely stock except that they painted the rims gold... it's not so scary as everyone thinks... luck of the draw... I drive my MR2 Turbo with a loudass exhaust and IS300 with tinted out windows into Vancouver like 3-4 times a week including downtown and I never even been looked at. Maybe I will sometime... but can't live in fear.

Carbon Black 2002 BMW E46 M3 Convertible - 6MT - 104,500 km - $15,000

Now this is a good deal. At the price point, I would be doubtful that the subframe and vanos has been reinforced. Plus subframe is never bulletproof unless you use VinceBar which are near impossible to get. VANOS should be done with Besian parts. But the KMs are pretty low and depending on if its late model or early model 2002, it may have OEM rod bearing recall done to it. I don't like verts, otherwise I would have scooped it up.
