Just you. That RS has accidents and has 120k km (in 3 years WOW). All other RS still hover around 38-40k
October 2019 to May 2020, the owner drove over 50,000km in that short time period according to the car fax.
Must of looped around Canada and the US a few times.

I mean, it's an average of 283.5 km/day. Most of it could be commuting.
I know several people who used to/currently make insane commutes like Port Alberni to Duncan, Sidney to Nanaimo, Cumberland to Nanaimo that would come close to that.
Assuming 135 days of commuting in 199 days:
Port Alberni to Duncan is ~268 km round trip (~36,200 km)
Sidney to Nanaimo is ~258 km round trip (~34,900 km)
Cumberland to Nanaimo is ~210 km round trip (~28,400 km)
I see its @ Vancouver... guess who is also in Vancouver.
I dunno if I would be able to make it out... lolol... can I get the dealer to deliver it to like SFU instead? lolol
Dealer I worked for before got us to drive a car out to a client just to test drive, overnight at that. That 2 staff, with 2 cars, out for a possible deal on one car. Probably a known client or previous longtime customer or something.
Ask if you really want it. Worse they can say is no.
Why would it be a problem, that Golf is entirely stock except that they painted the rims gold... it's not so scary as everyone thinks... luck of the draw... I drive my MR2 Turbo with a loudass exhaust and IS300 with tinted out windows into Vancouver like 3-4 times a week including downtown and I never even been looked at. Maybe I will sometime... but can't live in fear.
Now this is a good deal. At the price point, I would be doubtful that the subframe and vanos has been reinforced. Plus subframe is never bulletproof unless you use VinceBar which are near impossible to get. VANOS should be done with Besian parts. But the KMs are pretty low and depending on if its late model or early model 2002, it may have OEM rod bearing recall done to it. I don't like verts, otherwise I would have scooped it up.

PM if you're actually interested. I will arrange.
Wheels are refinished back to factory silver now. Actually really clean car overlooking the higher kms.

condition: good
fuel: gas
odometer: 192000
paint color: silver
title status: clean
transmission: manual
$2000 open to reasonable offers
Pros:
5 Speed Manual transmission
192xxx kms
Power Windows, Locks, Mirrors
Recent set of winter tires on rims
Summer tires on regular rims
Recent rear brake replacement
AC/Heat works fine
Maintenance receipts back to original purchase
3rd owner. First two were in the same family.
Cons:
Crack across windshield
Some scuffs on the bumpers
Passenger door lock needs to be manually locked
Driver side front panel replaced after low speed sideswipe of parked car
Power steering rack may need to be next major repair.
Has been treated well and maintained regularly. Driven very lightly since 2017 when I bought a different daily driver. Sad to see it go cause its fun to drive but barely using it.
A good daily driver/beater except Power Steering rack is a challenging job apparently...
