^ imo that's overpriced. Type-S should be around that price
This one is quite expensive for an < 06 TL, but a Type S with similar mileage will be somewhere in the teens. Whether it is worth that money is up for debate, I think for that money, there are faster RWD options.

Jan 2019 I sold a 2005 TL for $7,500. 6spd, Dynamic package, 190k kms. My car was always dealer serviced and pretty mint.
This one isn't a bad deal considering the kms and recent maintenance. I'm sure someone will pick it up for around $7500.

Spoiler!
I'm selling my 2010 mazda 3 GT. It's a manual transmission, original owner, non smoker, dog (corgi) ridden, no major accidents or claims. Reason I'm selling is because my wife can't drive manual, and we upgraded to a new honda civic. Was going to keep this car as a beater, but can't afford two insurances. This vehicle would be good for anyone looking for a beater car. More so, learning how to drive manual is a dying skill... hopefully someone out there wants to give this to their kid or significant other to learn stick. If you are in the coquitlam area, can meet you somewhere open so you can test drive (like mall parking lot). Will obviously clean up the car and vacuum before meeting up.
I'll start with the upfront bad:
- there is body damage on the passenger side. The plastic trim that runs along the bottom of the vehicle is gone. Circa 2016 I hit a curb taking a right turn a bit too sharply. The trim got torn off, there is a huge scratch on the frame (behind said plastic trim) and a slight dent. Took to an autobody for quick assessment, would have cost over $2000 if I didn't want to claim it. Was too poor to fix it. Was not a risk to the vehicle structurally. Cosmetics aside, I've been driving this vehicle since with no identifiable issues.
- Since circa winter 2018, there has been a crack that stems from the passenger side A-Pillar to about the middle of the windshield. It does not interfere with the driver's view, and I never had a cop pull me over or anything. It's a 'straight line' crack (vs a spider web I guess?), so there isn't a safety risk or visibility issue. The crack stemmed from a stone chip that occurred on the A-Pillar itself. I didn't see the stone chip (since it was on the pillar), otherwise i would have fixed it. It spread pretty quickly and I was too cheap to pay the $300 deductible to replace.
- The halogen headlights have a bit of "fogging". This seems to be a common issue with halogen lights... They work fine, but I read something online about humidity/condensation and the high heat emmitted from the lights. It's not the prettiest compared to today's vehicles, but it works fine.
- The auto daytime running lights don't come on all the time. They are supposed to turn on when it's darker out, but even on rainy Vancouver days, they don't turn on. I still have to turn on my normal running lights manually on rainy days. It might something to do with a sensor that detects low light conditions... but an 11 year old car's electronics probably aren't the most reliable.
- There are several key marks from living in East Van for a period of time. Didn't bother fixing it. It looks like an East Van vehicle I suppose... never been stolen, never been broken into (maybe not so East Van after all). I guess the rough looks do come in handy sometimes... also thieves don't know how to drive manual.
- Fog lights are burnt out.
The good maybe?
- The vehicle runs fine. It's not a performance car, but it's been reliable.
- last oil change was in May.
- I just put in a new battery in April. Can show receipts
- I just replaced the rear shocks for the first time since owning vehicle. Total cost of labour and parts was $500. Can show receipts.
- Tires are 2 years old, all weather with mud/snow rating. Took a trip to whistler in Februrary with no issues. Don't expect to go anywhere with deep snow, since it's a car and only 2WD.
Not looking to make a huge profit, just would like to recover the cost of replacing the shocks at least. Scrapping it would maybe net me $200 - $500 if I'm lucky. Other (better looking) Mazda 3's are selling about 3-5k on CL and FB Market. Hopefully this price is reasonable.
My AFC gave me an ABS CEL code of LOL while at WOT!

that's a good deal. I bet you could get that missing trim from a wrecker for almost nothing and hide the damage. insure for 3-4 months then do a windshield claim.
I bought one of these new - (actually we had 3 over the years). Great daily. Stereo good enough, seats comfy enough. Did great in the snow on real snow tires.

LOL guy reposted again. I just realized smt, it's being advertised as an "is" model. The ad states MY 2008. The 135is was only produced for MY 2013. Basically seller is demanding ultra rare spec pricing when it's not applicable.
