I think they all do that to a certain extent. My friends TL and my G both have slightly discolored bumpers, and I don't believe mines was replaced.

Super clean, sub 200k, late model NA, no accidents no rust $8k. Not sure if it has ac.

Edit: just noticed it had an engine swap to a 1.6 so that's a bit of a blemish.

DJ Milk 08-05-2020 11:52 AM

I always like this car and it looks like a fun car. It's not the Red Line model but this one is the cheapest one in Canada on Autotrader and it's manual :D

Yep, usually bumpers are sprayed in a different facility to the body and it's fairly noticeable if it's a pearl colour in certain lighting conditions. I've noticed this mostly from japanese automakers.

I'm pretty sure that was on sale last season (with the swapped engine, same old pictures) for a hell of a lot less than that. $8k is a lot for a nearly 200k km 93 NA without a HT.... Especially considering that it likely got swapped to an SNC.

This is probably the cheapest HR Z I've ever seen. BTW does anyone know how to tell the difference between an 06 and 07 without seeing the engine bay?

$7000, 165k kms, clean title (but the driver's side door does appear to be in a difference shade of silver). What do you guys think?

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...8596669902500/

The biggest difference is the hood. The HR's have a bulge on the hood, the de's have just flat hood with lines. But there is more to it, wheels, bumper are also different.

93 was the last year of the 1.6

Right, brain fart. I somehow was thinking 93 was last year of NA, but was actually thinking the 1.6 to 1.8 transition.

Soft spot for these V8 money-traps

2014 Cayman S (981)
$52k
18.5k km
PDK

https://www.autotrader.ca/a/Porsche/...65215_11465215

The car was previously listed at $57k for a few weeks. From the pictures, it look seriously mint and well taken care of. But it has since been lowered to $52k. That is almost how much the 981 base cars are asking for, but usually, those have higher mileage.

If it wasn't for the light tan interior and the PDK, I would have picked the car up for his $52k asking.

tofu1413 08-06-2020 03:56 PM

nice price...

but the color combo isnt for everyone.

Macademia metallic (brown metallic) on Tan. works well on the classic Porsches, modern ones... not much so.

roastpuff 08-06-2020 04:18 PM

I like the colour combo, I just don't have $52K to spare. :okay:

SkunkWorks 08-06-2020 04:54 PM

I'm not 60, so that colour combo won't work for me.

^ My dad had a beige on beige Chrysler Sebring convertible with factory chrome wheels. He sold it for pennies lol

This likely will be big money but a local 96 RS Avant Nogaro blue

The price for this is absolutely ludicrous... the owner doesn't even know when the engine was overhauled, or if it has been done at all.

YMMV, buyer beware.

No more than any other car. They're actually pretty cheap, considering the exclusivity. The one for sale is high mileage compared to other recent imports (definitely not only 2 in the country lol).

Great car for the money - ultimate cruiser. Although pretty bulletproof, I wonder how costly it'd be to do maintenance on the 1GZ or air suspension.

twitchyzero 08-07-2020 01:09 AM

you havent tried putting one in your FC yet? :drunk:

Great find! I've never seen one listed. On a side note, I thought the Yakuzas typically drove foreign cars because of the prestige.
