For a crashed smg vert, sure. |

Will you guys really pay that much for a 360km shell that still needs work and maintenance due to age. I rather have a newer smg m3, at least I'm not trying to source 30 year old parts. At the end of the day it's still a m3 vs a swapped 325. |
I would if the car was in good shape. It’s overpriced for sure, but a good e46 m3 in any spec I’d be interested in owning starts in the low 30s. Any old European car is going to need plenty of money in maintenance whether it’s 15 years or 30 years. The only difference is going to be how many times the part has been replaced before this time. |

^ just texted him, would buy today for that price. Sounds like it's going to turn into a driveway auction |
^Sounds that way. Seller won't take e transfer and my closest bank is closed. I think ill skip the headache and pass. |
Lol the main reason I'm with TD is so I can get cash to buy cars on the spot when deals pop-up. |
Seller just texted me, sold for asking price. |
Ya I was 5 mins away with cash in hand and he texted me... Fuck |

Damn, deal of the... year? This is like DB2 pricing from ten years ago, or even less. |
DB2s are that in demand? Asking for a friend  |
2004 Infiniti FX45, 166k kms for $4500. Pretty sweet deal, but damn, that is one awful color. https://images.craigslist.org/00I0I_...2_1200x900.jpg https://vancouver.craigslist.org/bnc...181239052.html |

looks clean and a great price but not 100% convinced it's a drop everything and bee line there with cash purchase unless you were specifically looking for it |
Front end of that gsr looks to be replaced, you can tell by the shade of the paint. Still a steal at the sellers asking price. |

Budget 911. Disclaimer it's a cab with what I'll describe as an odd exterior/interior color combination but hear me out before failing me.... It's a 1999 model so it has a more robust double row IMS bearing, it's kind of in the sweet spot of mileage, enough km that if the IMS was going to shit the bed it probably would have done so already but not so much that it's worn out, $20K in receipts for maintenance over the years (about $1K/year, probably about right), it's 6MT and comes with a hardtop. For sure that color combo is probably only a winner with the grandparents, but cheap 996's are getting harder to find, people seem to be figuring out that 996's can be a performance bargain. The seller says "no lowballers" but not "no offers", who knows, maybe an offer made in person and you're driving home in a Porsche 911 for $16K? Anyway, enough of my preamble, on with the show... https://vancouver.craigslist.org/nvn...174590870.html 1999 Porsche 996 cabriolet - $17,500 https://images.craigslist.org/00y0y_...t2_600x450.jpg My 1999 Porsche Carrera convertible has 121,000k and I have the car fax when I bought it 4 years ago . I have 20k in repairs over the years . One accident 3k Tires / brakes are good Needs a new back window. I have the matching hard top for it . Low ballers .......Please don’t wast your time and External sales people I don’t need any extra help selling it . Car fax etc etc Also No cel # no reply . I cannot verify the intermediate bearing has been done . |
It does seem like a good deal, but I'm just not sure how you can make a narrow body 996 look a bit better without spending big money. |
Agreed, If one wanted the C4S look, I wouldn’t recommend buying this car and throwing money at cosmetics. I’d buy it, slap a set of lowering springs on it and maybe clear turns and markers and call it done. I figure this would be a no-brainer alternative for someone shopping for a Boxster. Instead of spending the same $ to get a Boxster S, buy this and be in a 911. Quote:

I agree, colour is boring, and you're losing out by getting a Cab... but you're also right in that 99 is a good year for IMS. 20k spent in 4 years could either be an opportunity or a nightmare. With a PPI you could be cashing in on repair fatigue. Personally, I don't see the point of a 911 cab. Get a boxster or get a proper 911 for max performance. |
^Maybe throw a wrap on it too lol |
