Ive figured it out. Its not the LED tails as i think any E46 M3 must have them even if it means aftermarket.

Combination of the misplaced M3 badging and missing trunk lip spoiler makes it look funny.

Definitely some kinda cheapo repair at least to the rear of that car.

jpark 05-19-2014 08:38 PM

Was probably hit in the rear and the trunk was sourced out from a regular e46 coupe.
Tails were probably damaged too in the accident which explains the aftermarket led

If it wasnt for the PITA importing a car

It's beyond easy to import a car that is more than 15 years old... you don't have to go through RIV or anything... just pay tax and get a provincial inspection. It's exactly as difficult as buying a car from another province.

fliptuner 05-19-2014 10:42 PM

Not quite. Still have to export, wait, arrange shipping or binders and poss. pay duty.

MindBomber 05-19-2014 10:56 PM

I'd consider the first c10 if it was in Canada. The complications the Provincial Inspection could produce are enough to turn me off of it, though...

I love internationals.

scENFORCER 05-20-2014 02:47 AM

^ man, didnt realize those old trucks were so cheap. Would be fun to just buy one on the cheap and cruise around on the weekends.

kunoman1 05-20-2014 09:41 AM

Actually I was just reading through Vancouvermustangs/revscene thread about importing a classic car from the states into Canada, simplified the process alot, might be tempted to grab that first C10. Looks like the guys put in a lot of money into it...then there's that international which looks so sexy..

edit:
Nevermind..texted the C10 owner, "would have it towed to Canada, needs a full restoration"

double edit:
"Just needs body work and rust repair"

That one we saw in Langley/Aldergrove last year, with the tilt deck and wood stakes was nice...and priced well. If I had extra money at the time, I really would've considered buying it and possibly swapping in a Cummins.

I would have like to have bought it, too.

It was in beautiful shape, well equipped, and priced very low.

A dealer bought it and listed it for double.

I'll definitely be looking to buy or build one like it eventually, depending on how things go...

Here's a nice one to rat rod.

I bet that will sell by tomorrow.

RevYouUp 05-20-2014 06:10 PM

I'm hoping so bad that no one buys it, because I will probably pull the trigger

And yes most of the examples I posted are good deals save for the fake R35 ad that has since been flagged. Just because you can't afford or aren't getting a steal price doesn't make these bad bargains. That Supra has over $130,000 invested. The car is literally an Japanese icon. The MKIV's like the NSX will never depreciate unless they are rebuilts/high km/bagged on

It's all relative. If I was a working professional making 6 figures which a lot of vancouverites are making then these cars are not only affordable but a great buy. People have this misconception that mods don't increase value but hate to break it to you THEY DO! You renovate a house with upgraded marble bathroom/hardwood floors/fancy kitchens the house is worth more. Same analogy.

The check engine light is on due to the turbo kit. The car is running a bit off from time to time as there is a code for a Barometric Pressure Circuit Low

IceBoy's Accord vs Twitchy's Integra surprisingly had the same price brand spanking new. This kind of feels cheap all of a sudden:heckno:

Lexus Is 250 RWD 6SPEED IS250

Great deal assuming it really is mechanically fine. Sparknotes: Fairly new battery, brakes, clutch, flywheel. No accident history or claims.

I would definitely check this if I needed a vehicle!

freakshow 05-21-2014 07:58 PM

I've been looking for an AWD IS250.. and that is a smokin' deal.. almost too good to be true.
