Depending on your personality and a whole lot of luck, this could either bring you a lot of joy for not much money or be worse than the biggest migraine you've ever had: 1984 Maserati for $2,500... blue exterior and crazy purple interior!

Seems like a decent Jetta in an attractive colour, great interior condition and not a lot of money either:

Green Jetta 1.8T with full black leather interior and nice wheels for $2,500

This thing seems like too good a deal to be true, $40K for a 997 with the PCCB option at a dealer. Either the budget 911 market has dropped or this car has some accident history significant enough to materially affect the asking price.

Well, and just like that, the ad is gone. Wonder if the car sold cause I was just looking at the ad this morning.

I have a thing for the 996 C4S/Turbo body.

IIRC, yellow calipers on older Porsches may not necessarily indicate that they are PCCB. At some point in the past, Porsche allowed custom colours on the calipers as part of the selectable Porsche options (aka shameless $$$ grab). It wasn't until later when Porsche standardized the caliper colours to mean something.

I seem to think that nowadays, their caliper colour coding works something to this effect:

neon yellow: PCCB
red: high spec calipers
black: "crap" calipers

2002 RSX Type S - $5000 - 138xxx km

Looks like there's a scuff on the rear bumper. The leather isn't ripped, which is a common thing on the RSX i believe

I ran the VIN for that car through one of the build sheet decoder sites. It had the PCCB brake option.

Gonna have to agree, the rear end of a 996 is on point. And agree with the headlights. I just can't. There's a fucked up one in my area with shit paint that has a 997 conversion and it looks really off.

Actually, I don't like the front bumper either.

I like the look of the 997.2 front end more.

Just need the market to tank again.

997.2 prices remain strong. No IMS issues. Will take quite a economic correction but I hope it brings down GT3 prices too.
