^^ oh, how unique, another used BMW. Haven't seen one of those posted here for about 8 hrs. |
Hey Dorian, This isn't really the "marketing a car I want to sell" thread. There is a used vehicles for sale subforum that you can post this in. Now if you're selling this thing for a great price, post up the price and let us weigh in on whether we think it's a good buy. Generally the community is pretty OK with posts from a source other than CL as long as it's a good buy. Sorry man, had to fail this post. Quote:

I said dm for price so it wouldnt get discussed on this thread i dont know if you looked at the engine bay on the pictures or you just failed the post because you wanted to. Its a N54 Thanks for the Fail |
you're right, it is the N54 and I'll edit my post on that but my opinion on the Fail stands. Yes, people post cool or rare cars sometimes and that is OK when they don't have personal interest in selling it. When people are trying to sell their own car or market a car on this thread, that doesn't seem to be generally accepted unless it's a good buy. It's been my experience that most people selling their own cars or marketing cars on this thread, the cars are not a good deal. You can prove the exception to this point if you want to though! If it's priced well, post it up. |
That many Km’s on that age BMW feels like it’s more of a detriment than a benefit lol |
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2011-bmw-335is-14/ 9k mile 2011 vert sold for 28250 USD in July 2020 I guess a 2013 335is with 3500kms for low $30.000s CAD is a good deal |

I think we need a “Craigslist good buys under $10k” thread |
Quote:
I mean sure, sometimes the thread gets overwhelmed with either not so good buys, rare cars, or just simply a piece of crap. But overall IMHO I'm informed on what various cars are for sale whether it's good, bad, or interesting to look at. EDIT: Either I keep missing out on an Acura RSX deal, or waiting for another Bimmer to get totalled by BIG_BAWS :lawl: |
I love the way this thread is right now, the people who frequent this thread know what it’s about, hate when people get all up in arms about the odd overpriced cool or rare car. Hell I bet a third of the people wouldn’t be on revscene anymore without this thread haha Should really be called, “Craigslist Buys - Sometimes good, but always interesting” |

You're being failed because you wrote DM for price. Just post the price. This is coming from someone who doesn't love N54, but I also post a lot of BMWs. Most of the M cars here aren't good buys, but you can say that they're a good buy in the current environment. A good buy 6 months ago, was 17K, 150K km, 02 6MT M3, with all big 3 done. But that simply doesn't exist anymore. |

for jpark, my #1 fan. 09 Audi A3 quattro, 110K kms, $7900. https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...237555311.html https://images.craigslist.org/00v0v_...ik_600x450.jpg |
2017 Porsche 718 Cayman S w/ PDK 45k km $63,495 asking https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...237469548.html https://images.craigslist.org/00E0E_...B_1200x900.jpg Carfax Report here: https://vhr.carfax.ca/?id=79tqBssV68...XqkZ4WQve+F9qq Yes, dealership car. 3 accidents + a glass claim in the records. First model year. It's got some decent kms on the odo. Literally that red flag interior. I know, I know... But if you can look past all that, me thinks this is really a fantastic deal. The accidents are $1500, $200, and $1300. On a Porsche. The glass claim was $80. Who knows what those "collision" accidents were, but really, who cares? Got a scratch, have it repainted, and it pretty much costs more than that. It's got PASM and torque vectoring. 2 sets of wheels (20" Carrera S and 18" Boxster for winters), it looks like. Those 18" wheels + winter tires is a $3k+ option before tax, and I actually like them better than the 20" rollers. 18 way Sport+ powered seats. This is like a $4k+ option, and buyers usually cheap out with just the $2k 14-way powered seats. Sport Chrono. BOSE. (OK, Bose is crap, but still, it's there.) Damn... Normally, the accident-free copies of similar cars ask for something in the low $80k's. Usually those have useless luxury options that sporty drivers don't care for, but lack the performance options that this car has. A base stripper 718 Cayman has a higher MSRP than this. Damn... Somebody please buy this so that I wouldn't have to torment myself over it... Base - 718 Cayman S 030 - PASM Sport Suspension (20 Mm Lower) 220 - Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) 250 - Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) 433 - 20" Carrera S Wheels 489 - Heated Multifunction Steering Wheel 581 - Luggage Net In Passenger Footwell 583 - Smoking Package 7UG - Navigation Module For Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 970 - Two-tone Leather Interior 9VL - BOSE® Surround Sound System BM - Leather Interior In Black/Bordeaux Red IV2 - Connect Plus P07 - Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) With Memory Package P9E - Premium Package Plus (Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, 18-way) QR5 - Sport Chrono Package U2 - GT Silver Metallic XDH - Wheels Painted In Platinum Satin XLX - Sport Exhaust System Including Sport Tailpipes In Black |
^ thank god I cant afford it... as in I dont have that much cash lying around... I assume Porsche used car financing is like 8% lolol... might as well reverse mortgage my house at that point... and if I were to get an equity loan for my property... I would look into depreciated exotics like a 458... ahhh well.. I fully agree, that is an awesome example of a car for someone... |
Quick corrections: It's got SPASM, not PASM. SPASM is Sport PASM, and is 20mm lower than the standard suspension. PASM is "just" PASM, and is 10mm lower than the standard suspension. The PTV torque vectoring package also means it comes with the factory LSD. Quote:
