I think he is referring that it could be "winter capable" if you paid $400 more than the asking price for a set of brand new winter tires.
plenty capable car in the snow though. P types have a factory LSD...

also, am i the only one who sees the rust starting to bubble on the rear hatch? granted, i've seen these rot so badly the SUPRA decal is the only thing holding it together but i do see the start of something under the "S" and the keyhole...

these shells are pretty rust prone, that hatch on this one is pretty nice already. seen big holes on these cars over the years
Probably slapped on what ever is cheap and has tread.
The tire size on these cars are pretty hard to come by. 225 60 R14. not a lot of people make tires that width in 14" nowadays.
