Shame that Applewood Nissan has turned into the shit show that it is now. Eons ago when my family were buying at the then Richmond Nissan, we've had some very good shopping experience.

He kept on insisting I put in an offer so it "looks good" to his manager. He handed me this piece of paper with OFFER written on the top and reassured me it wasn't a real offer showing my intent. I asked him multiple times what the MSRP was and he refused to tell me. I offered him $1 before he went to grab his manager to find out. Fuck Applewood.

^ Richmond Nissan / Infiniti way back in the day was a store that was sort of run by Nissan Corporate themselves.

thats what I was told by the old colleagues I used to work with that worked there in the early 2000s..... (G35s were such a hot seller... and the FX too!)

made some solid coin back then for those brands and the store was quite well run.

Yeah I 100% agree. Went to test drive a ‘13 abarth. Price was too high, sales was wayyyy too aggressive. I even knew the head manager at the time, but still got the run around. Put a hold on one car for a few days as I had other appointments for cars. They were making me hit some fucking gong and talk to other managers and shit.

I ended up buying a focus ST sight unseen. They treated me like garbage trying to get my 1k back from holding the abarth etc etc. Making me wait, trying to tell me it was non refundable etc. Extremely bad experience.

Never set foot in there again.

Sorry to be a downer, but this looks like it has moldy rear seats. I wouldn't underestimate how bad that can be for you.

I've worked for Applewood and can tell you first hand that they sell used junk from auction and are shady af to deal with. Not to mention they Hired Anthony Espinosa as a sales rep at Applewood Nissan on Fraser hwy a couple years back...Goes to show you their level of professionalism.

Acura Integra 1998 - $1,000

https://images.craigslist.org/00g0g_...2_1200x900.jpg

1998 Integra RS Coupe automatic

Second owner, with 164,000 km's on it.
Lot's of life left.
Car runs good, and is very reliable.
I don't use it enough to keep now, since I can walk to work, and keep running the battery down.
Will need some tires eventually, but they are good for now.
Sunroof does not open all the way, and was custom installed by Burrard Acura as it was a showroom model when it was new.
Has a decent USB stereo.
Lot's of tiny dings from typical Vancouver drives opening doors into it in parking lots. Couple of minor accidents but not a write off.
Great car for the money, and looks nice too, see pictures.
The car has been everywhere from Whistler to Seattle and taken me snowboarding as well.
Serious buyers only, must sell before the end of Dec. since my parking is ending.

My brother picked this up last night :) From what I can gather, it is a "Super Style" Integra meaning:

Has the USDM Type R Interior (non-recaro, black with red stitching) with the Momo style red stitch Steering wheel all from factory. Lip kit included in this package as well. Even has the factory pioneer sound system !

....but it has a D16 LOL. I have a B16 Head for him at home, trying to find him a B18 or B20 block to swap in. :D

Really happy with how clean it is ! Imported by an older Honda collector as a daily driver the past three years. No signs of any accidents or paint work, and the interior is FLAWLESS. It's a bit filthy in this photo though.

^ wonder if the “usdm” style seats came foctory on those Integras.

rb 12-04-2020 12:41 PM

Saw that integra at the car wash in poco last night. He was taking pics of it with his buddy who drove a white csx. looks pretty good

I am not as much of an Integra nerd, but from what I have been told and have seen in “Super Style” brochures is that this is the factory interior :) It’s the black suede insert and cloth seats with red stitching even in the rear too, like I have seen in our Canadian and US Type R’s.

Didn't have any good experience at Signature Mazda or Honda dealer at Richmond auto mall.

The Honda salesman asked me to put down a deposit to test drive a goddamn civic l0l

The Mazda salesman told me all of their cars were out as loaners or test drives, didn't even offer to ask me to come back another day, never even followed up.

Applewood Nissan in Richmond was surprisingly much better.

Never had any issues with any dealers that I went to in Burnaby or North Van.

This was in early 2019.

I was going to buy them but I took my wheel off to check and I'd rub. I'm running 205 50 16 for winter and they're already larger in diameter than stock.

2008 Toyota Avalon 80k - $8,000

https://images.craigslist.org/00d0d_...F_1200x900.jpg

For Sale: 2008 Toyota Avalon Touring

Low mileage on this vehicle. 80,000 kilometers

If you are looking for a great sedan, this car is worth looking at. It got the vehicle from my brothers estate and have had very little use for it. I just bought a van, so the car has to go.

If you want to make an offer, do me a favour and come have a look at the car first.

If the add is still up, the vehicle is still for sale.
