Aren’t they fwd in that era though? If that one didn’t have the two claims I’m sure some idiot would pay way too much on bat in hopes of retiring off of the 5k he’d make off of storing it for 10 years |

That one has been for sale for ages now. That big an ask is going to make it tough to find a local buyer. Given the mileage the price isn't that crazy, but still tough to swallow. |
They're still mid engine/rear wheel drive and a blast to drive on a twisty road. I've never heard of this clutchless manual thing before though. That's a lot of money too, considering a friend of mine struggled to get $5k for a mint JDM one. |
damn didnt realize they were worth so little compared to cappucino/beat/az1 |

They can call it whatever they want, it's a piece of shit transmission and that person is dreaming if they think they're going to sell it for $18k... hence why it's been on CL for over a year now |
No price but super clean and perfect for SRT4 swap https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...247892030.html |
awesome deal, hard to find these in such nice shape these days 07 RL A-spec, 1 owner, 97k kms, no accidents $8800obo It even looks like it has the optional adaptive cruise control juding by the grill emblem plaque piece https://vancouver.craigslist.org/pml...248371357.html |

or is that some obsessive preservation technique? |
For a Honda/Acura, the RL is too complicated. Replacement parts when were available would cost a fortune(for a honda), now basically anything unique to that car if needed is likely obsolete. I would steer clear of that car. |
That’s a good point. I still miss my 2000 RL. |

Beautiful cars though. Timeless design. |
would probably still buy that over any new acura that's turbo everything v6 awd with a plushy interior and an exterior that aged good |
I asked my mechanic about that gen RL, and he said just get the beak TL with sh awd. I think they are much the same thing, similar power but the TL has newer technology. Apparently size wise inside is similar too? |
handsome car. but apparently they have a slew of electrical gremlins. anyone can chime in on this? |
I just remember the video below Always wanted a big body honda sedan. |
https://vancouver.craigslist.org/bnc...248770303.html https://images.craigslist.org/00v0v_...m_1200x900.jpg $5000 for a 07 M35x isn't bad. Basically, a big body G35 for 5k isn't too bad. |

lip is missing and the two front ducts are painted.... wonder if the front end has been fixed at one point. |
with the RL if the electrical gremlins weren't known to effect the drive/power train too much, I'd be pretty confident in that car going forward |

^^ I've always liked the styling not sure about reliability or gas consumption though with the awd |
essentially a scaled up G35. seemed to be a pretty reliable car from I've seen in the past few years. but they do get neglected at a certain point of ownership seemingly. AWD based on the GTR's ATTESA-ETS front and rear torque split system. car is usually RWD dominant under most conditions. up to 50% power to the front on slippery surfaces or moving from a standstill. Fuel consumption shouldn't be a huge difference compared to the RWD ver... unlike mercedes's early 4matics or BMW Early X drive cars. |
