do v6 6pd sedans even exist in canada? |
Yea, no one really bought them new. If I recall they were special order as well. No one wanted a V6 family sedan with a 6-speed. Even though the 6-speeds came with bigger front brakes, strut bar and can accelerate to 60mph in under 6 seconds. but no one cared |

It is no secret, esp to auto manufacturers, that "enthusiasts" are the loudest and cheapest whiners that almost never walk the walk after all their talk. This is why I can't blame them for not building fun cars LOL~ |
the average enthusiast let's someone else eat the depreciation then asks why mustangs are becoming crossovers |
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/...-m3/1540989300 - M3 Evo 2 for trade (don't shoot the messenger, idk what its worth lol) |

Same guy is selling an 06 E46 M3 with 87,500 for $50K. If this is the same one that was being sold over the summer, it was $36K iirc |

Alrighty, here's one that is calling out to me. Wagon, 6MT, XWD (so the torque steer isn't quite so bonkers) Aero (turbo V6 with a ton of tuning potential) and even in a non-boring colour! I'd sure want to see what the interior looks like, if it isn't wrecked this car ticks a lot of boxes. The hood needs some attention., I'd either try and repair it or just drive it till one turns up at a wrecker (that could take a while). It could be a great deal if one could grind the seller down a bit more but I think he knows what he's got! https://comoxvalley.craigslist.org/c...251996316.html Rare car 170km Clean interior Needs work Rare car 6speed stick Summer rims bad tires Aero package Firm on price https://images.craigslist.org/00707_...2_1200x900.jpg |
^ Now THAT is a unicorn. I want to know where the factory wheels went though, what he's got on there suck. |

The ones in the ad look like General Altimax on winter wheels? |

Wonder what else "Needs work" means. This is the kind of car I'd love to have kicking around as a 2nd car especially for just a few grand. |
Can you get parts for that thing? |
There's place in Richmond imports Saab parts, I talked to him about something unrelated one day and he seemed like a really good guy... but I mean drivetrain wise it's just GM shit |
One of the cheaper ones I’ve seen LEXUS SC430 (SMOOTH CONVERTIBLE) - $10,900 https://vancouver.craigslist.org/bnc...252813938.html https://images.craigslist.org/01111_...q_1200x900.jpg 2013 Tesla Model S - Priced for Quick Sale - $27,500 https://vancouver.craigslist.org/pml...252779607.html https://images.craigslist.org/00M0M_...2_1200x900.jpg |

‘02 WRX, super clean for ~10k. Doesn’t sound like a deal, but considering bug eye / blob eye STi’s of similar condition are going for 25k, this seems like a fantastic daily if kept stock. Doubt you’d lose any money driving for a few years. Aftermarket gauge on the steering column warrants some digging, just to make sure this didn’t used to be heavily modded, or else it’s not worth near the asking. https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...252328224.html https://images.craigslist.org/01212_...u_1200x900.jpg https://images.craigslist.org/00P0P_...u_1200x900.jpg |
^^ I thought these engines never make it to high km |

So it's built like a tank except for the FATAL flaws? |
Ah, yea. Maybe a better term is "Built like a Deathstar, but the vulnerable vent ports only expose themselves every 100k or so" LOL I'm sure there's plenty other Subie enthusiasts here that are much more well-versed with these engines and can chime in since they've been around for what seems like eons now. |
what blows my mind is a powertrain in production for like 25 years yet has a recent class action lawsuit for failures https://topclassactions.com/lawsuit-...n%20settlement. you would think they'd redesign from scratch at least 10 years ago |
Considering how loyal Subaru owners are, I think they prefer to overlook it and consider it as a charming feature and part of the battle scars you earn that come along with Subaru ownership. |
