That's what they want you to think... until you own one and its a new issue every week. Mine had misfires, DSG mechatronics was on the way out, carbon buildup that needed cleaning apparently, engine mounts shot, and the cats melted. All from 40-60k km.
I actually had an RS3 on order but cancelled it when audi wouldn't warranty my cats. Who would've guessed Audi/VAG would throw their own customer under the bus when it came to an emissions problem

-Random electrical issue with the battery module, car stalled on the highway
-DSG was getting clunkier and clunkier as mileage climbed up. Was almost undrivable in slow traffic cause of the jerk (I even did the dsg service twice..)
-EPC light would come on time to time and go in limp mode. Would pull over restart the car and problem went away. No one was able to figure out WTF the issue was (No codes)
-Coolant hoses suck, starting to eat up at 100k kms, had to replace bunch of hoses.
-Mysterious coolant consumption to the point I got a compression test done thinking something happened to the motor when I overheated a bit from the thermo but numbers were fine. Couldn't figure this out
I got mine at 75k kms, got rid of it at 136k.. Most of the issues above started occuring around 90k~110k. Car was surprisingly fine for the last bit until i sold it
I've also heard of the cat issues on the B8/8.5. Usually happens when your car is tuned. There is a folk recently on VancouverAudi whos cat got clogged and eventually blew up the engine
That's not true, They revised the mechatronics a little but.. but 8.5's still have the same issue. My buddys 13 S5 Mech unit went out at only 78k kms, luckily covered under extended warranty.

Vancouver Audi club on fb. You'll see his part out post and you can go from there... Quite humourous when he posts the reply from the tuner whom he tried to blame.
Beware of this car
Guy seems super sketchy I asked him a couple questions and he kept trying to pawn it on me. He got mad when I asked him if I can take it to Audi or any German/European mechanic for full inspection and a compression test if I paid. He his always posting this car everyday reducing price increasing price and repeat. He didnt send me any maintenance receipts like I asked him to. Overall bad vibes. Seems like he just wants you to show up with money and take it without being allowed to carefully check it out making sure it's right for you.
6sp swapped E46 325i touring. looks drift boi. wonder if its worth saving for anyone.
It's pretty rough...

A couple dings here and there, Rear arches inside have surface rust, scratches on roof and left rear quarter panel, vibration on idle due to poly engine mounts, heat is cooler due to electronic thermostat cooler max temp (for track days), heated seats aren't wired up on body side, needs to have clutch switch wired and flashed for the swap to be complete (it runs and drives just has a transmission code for the auto), cruise control buttons haven't worked since head unit install, minor oil leak around oil pan, comes with an MTech 2 bumper that needs paint and another sedan bumper, that's all I can think of at this moment.
Up for sale is my Silver 02 Porsche Carrera with black interior. I have owned the car for 7 years and looking to sell to get into a 997. The car is well kept and I have done all the necessary maintenance on it since ownership. Local vehicle with no accidents.
The car is manual and I have done the brakes, belt, Air oil separator, water pump and had an LN Engineering IMS single row bearing put in. The clutch was not changed at the time as it still had lots of life left on it. Car runs strong and no oil leaks. Current mileage on the vehicle is 112,000kms.
Priced for sale at $19,800. Good time to get into a Porsche before Springs comes. Interested parties can email me for additional info. Thank you.
I bought the 06 RSX-S posted here last year... $2,700 (it was advertised at $2,500 but a little bidding war ensued) but it had a rebuilt title... I just wanted the drivetrain anyway so that didn’t matter to me haha
